Board of Directors Outreach to Haiti- R.C. Diocese of Norwich CT. 2015-Present Responsible for strategy, fundraising and promotion of 30 year old outreach program. OTH offers health care services, student sponsorships and other educational support, parish twinning, support of two orphanages, as well as a neighborhood meal program for children.

Board of Director’s Holy Trinity Arts Society- Edmonton, AB. 2014-Present Non-profit supporting/ promoting spirituality and the arts at Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Produces multi-arts ArtSpirit Festival. Grant writing, collaboration with community.

Archdeacon for Congregational Development- Anglican Diocese of Edmonton; Edmonton, AB. 2012–Present Assist and provide counsel to Bishop, assist with Inductions, support Diocesan strategic planning, transition planning and other duties as needed. Responsible for congregational assessments using Congregational Assessment Tool and subsequent interpretations and development planning. Plan clergy leadership formation, parish development, Ecumenical missional activities (Ashes to Go, Go tell it on LRT, Remembrance Day), and mentoring of clergy. Participate/ coordinate Diocesan training, and wellness activities. Direct clergy (Asst. Curate, Deacon, 2 Honorary Assistants), paid and volunteer staff, oversee budget, fundraising, teaching, preaching, celebrating, worship, visioning, formation, strategic planning, ecumenical relations, major organ renovation and expansion project (~$740,000), community relations, Syrian refugee sponsorship, arts nonprofit, $400,00 mission campaign, grant writing. Rector, Christ Church Episcopal- Westerly RI 2008-2010 Rector of active multi-staff program-sized church situated in town of ~22,000. A 550 member program-size choral parish with 7 paid staff, 44 member choir, 68 member church school and ASA of 260. Focus on new member welcome, congregational development, Christian formation, stewardship, outreach (local and beyond). Instituted an outside speaker program, created a family worship service (4th service), began adult education on Sunday mornings and overhauled stewardship program. Ecumenical activities and worship, community partnering. Ecumenical ministry, outreach, worship, formation, supervise seminarians, Navajoland ministry, Living Supplies Closet and other activities.

Territorial Archdeacon of Yellowhead, Anglican Diocese of Edmonton- Edmonton, AB 2005-2008 Responsible for oversight of geographical area consisting of 13 parishes. Administrative and pastoral oversight of clergy, coordinate joint activities. Be in regular consultation with Regional Dean(s). Meet with clericus when a new Regional Dean is to be chosen & attend other clericus meetings upon request. Arrange and Preside at Clergy Inductions as delegate of the Bishop if requested. Attend inductions as is possible. Intentionally develop and nurture community among clergy and lay leaders throughout the Region(s). Chair pre-Synod Meetings for clergy and laity for one’s area. As occasion requires represent the Bishop at both diocesan and non-diocesan functions. Be an active communicator between parishes in the Region and larger diocesan community. Aid actively in keeping diocesan community aware of its membership in the worldwide Anglican Communion. Coordinate ministry to Gunn Centre (homeless/ substance abuse men) and the Hope for Life Kenya Project (support for Kenyan Aids Orphans, fundraising and drilling of well that transformed a community).

Secretary of the State, State of Connecticut- Hartford, CT 1998-2002 Oversee all technology projects in the Agency including acting as project supervisor for statewide electronic voter registration system and an Internet-based campaign finance information system. Supervised and participated in training of end users. Chair the Technology Advisory Group and the web-site standards and development committee. Develop and manage the Agency's web-site and serve as liaison between technical, managerial and executive staff and vendors and outside agencies. Oversee the functioning and hardware/software directions of the Agency as well as the development and upgrade of existing custom applications. Responsible for selecting, interviewing and overseeing vendors including managing purchase orders and creating statements of work. Solicit feedback from general public and user base in order to maintain effectiveness of Agency in serving its customers. Partner in setting and implementing Agency policy and strategic planning. Campaign Manager-Bysiewicz for Secretary of the State- CT 1997-1998 Overall management and execution of grassroots, successful statewide campaign for Constitutional Office from initial campaign, convention, primary, general election and transition into office. Oversaw strategic planning, political, media/communications and fundraising components on a day to day basis. Responsibilities included lobbying, press writing, press relations and spokesperson, budgeting, coordination of outside consultants, directing in-house staff and volunteers, liaison to other campaigns.

Adjunct Faculty, Department of Biology- 1997-1998, Quinnipiac College Teaching anatomy and physiology laboratories to pre-professional university students. Responsible for lecturing, demonstrations and hand-on laboratories on human anatomy and physiology.

Associate Research Scientist, School of Medicine Dept. Neurology, Dept. Pharmacology- New Haven, CT 1992-1998 Primary biomedical investigation of mechanisms of ion, pH and inter/intra cellular communication in astrocytes and Schwann cells. Research into areas of epilepsy, anoxic and ischemic damage to glia. Co-investigator on research on the ionic and pharmacological mechanisms involved in normal and pathological glia in peripheral and central nervous systems. Also studied proliferation and death in same cells. Faculty member of Interdepartmental Neuroscience program. Responsible for design and execution of experiments and writing of manuscripts.
