Free ticket vouchers to Hoffman Estates residents for upcoming Aretha Franklin show at Sears Centre Arena

The Sears Centre Arena is pleased to offer Hoffman Estates residents free ticket vouchers to the upcoming event, “Fashion on Ice,” starring Aretha Franklin.

“Fashion on Ice” is a one-night-only spectacular, and takes place on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. at the Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway. In addition to the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin, the event will feature Olympic and world-class fi gure skaters and top fashion designers.

Aretha Franklin will perform numbers from her new album “A Woman Falling Out of Love.” She with close the show with her all-time greatest hit, “Respect.” Joining Franklin are Olympic and national medalists , , Jeremy Abbott, Ryan Bradley, , Mary Beth Marley, Rockne Brubaker, Sasha Cohen, and newly crowned world ice dancing champions and Charlie White.

“Fashion on Ice” promises to be an exciting and unique fashion show, creating a catwalk on ice. Skaters will perform choreographed numbers to Franklin’s hits, sung live, in costumes designed by designers Betsey Johnson and Gilles Mendel.

Village residents interested in free ticket vouchers can pick them up at the front counter at the Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road, during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon). Residents need to present a valid driver’s license or state ID in order to receive the vouchers. Please note: the voucher does not constitute an admission ticket. They must be redeemed at the Sears Centre Arena box offi ce for actual tickets to the event. The free tickets do not include the cost of parking. Tickets are available on a fi rst come, fi rst served basis, and supplies are limited.
