Thanks are due to the many resource persons, speakers, chairpersons, tutors, and trainers in the various educational activities. The College would not be able to do without these people. The Fellowship by Assessment Classes hosted two workshops on research skills, and each candidate produced 3 clinical reviews, and a research project each as part of the course work. RELATIONSHIPS The College enjoyed good relationship and collegiality with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Medical Council, Singapore Medical Association and the Academy of Medicine. It also enjoyed good fraternity with colleagues in the restructured hospitals, the Polyclinic clusters and GP clinics. The synergy was particularly strong between the College and these stakeholders during the H1N1 outbreak which occurred in April to August of 2009. THE COLLEGE COUNCIL AND SECRETARIAT Much of the achievement of the two years was made possible by a synergistic College Council and hardworking College Secretariat. The membership has also been supportive of the efforts of the College in vocational training and continuing professional development. Let me take this opportunity to thank the Executive Committee, members of the retiring Council, and members of the College Secretariat for the contributions they have made to the College in the last two years. ELECTIONS This Annual General Meeting will also be electing its next College Council for 2011 – 2013. NOTE OF APPRECIATION To one and all, thank you for the support and encouragement throughout the last two years of my term as President.
