Table 1 and Table 2 provide an initial approximation of the total daily trips for the key travel movements that an ATN might be designed to serve. Table 1 provides calculation for existing conditions (between 2005 and 2010 depending on data source) and Table 2 provides estimates for year 2030 based on the VTA model forecast of the City’s General Plan buildout (which correlates roughly with the Airport’s forecast of 17.6 million annual passengers in 2027). Figure 1 is a diagram that illustrates graphically the information presented in Table 1 and Table 2.
