YOUTH MINISTRY AND PREP PARENT ORIENTATION

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 25TH, 7PM IN THE PARISH HALL This orientation is for parents of our CTK students and will give them an understanding of what Catholic Youth Ministry is; why they should want their young person to be a part of it, and will explain C4C (Elementary School Youth Ministry), JYM (Jr. High Youth Ministry), and CYM (High School) youth ministries. Krystal Gates, our Coordinator of Youth Ministry, will explain the continuity of these three levels of Youth Ministry and how we partner with parents in building a strong foundation on which our youth might stand in growing a Catholic identity that will last for life. This meeting is mandatory for all Confirmation Prep Parents (9th and 10th grade) and will include an explanation of this important time of preparation for the Sacrament of Confir- mation. This orientation will also be an opportunity for Ms. Krys to give our parents a tour of the newly renovated Life House and Parish Hall in which our Sunday Night Lights takes place. To- gether let’s make this a great year for Youth Ministry here at CTK!
