He is one of New York’s most recognized open format DJs, holding the reputation for bringing the hottest parties and celebrities to any venue he touches. SHORTKUTZ regularly performs at high-profile fashion, music, corporate and charity events for well-known brands including Chopard, REDValentino, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ciroc Premium Vodka and Heineken. Most recently he’s spun for celebrities such as Puff Daddy, Heidi Klum, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Jamie Foxx, Leo DiCaprio, Rihanna and JAY Z. He has been featured on FOX 5 Television, TMZ, the NY Post's Page 6, The Daily New, US Weekly and on-air on NYC’s WQHT HOT 97 FM Radio. Seven years later, Richardson brought this lawsuit, alleging that Karim Kharbouch—who performs under the name French Montana—infringed on Richardson’s work in violation of federal copyright law, 17 U.S.C. § 106.2 Compl. ¶¶ 25-32. THe Complaint also names as a defendant Excuse My French, which is allegedly an unincorporated music-publishing company owned and controlled by Kharbouch. Id. ¶ 3. Instead, it was a day students in the high school wilderness physical education class spent in the great outdoors. On April 27 the class hiked 9.7 miles across the Burroughs Range traversing three of the Catskill Mountain’s highest peaks: Slide, Cornell and Wittenburg. To add to the educational value of the day, the class was fortunate to be accompanied by John Greene, Binghamton University hiking instructor and New York state licensed guide.
