Ademco is proud to be the chosen security vendor for a government ministry* in Asia. We have implemented perimeter protection (Lidar technology) to monitor an outdoor, fenced area, as well as an intrusion detection technology (tailgate sensors) at their data centre.

Lidar technology works by using laser beams reflecting off objects to detect a distance, Time-of-Flight (TOF) range measurement. It is superior to conventional perimeter protection systems because of the ability to provide higher accuracy in identification and tracking. Lidar can also function in more complex situations and is not prone to false alarms caused by the limitations of conventional imagery system.

With superior detection, Lidar technology is definitely well-suited for our client’s requirements for a powerful monitoring and protection system.
