Start the Public Art Bike Ride with the Great Strides Mural located across from Sam’s Club and just past the Rodeo Rd. underpass on the Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail. 2.

The next stop is on the Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail down a Service Only Road, be on the lookout for a wooden structure after passing Richards Avenue and before reaching the Genoveva Chavez Community 3. 3. , Title & Artist Unknown

Take a short detour from the Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail just before the stop sign at Avenida de las Campanas. Near the picnic tables in Monica Lucero Park you’ll find the next art piece! While the title and artist are unknown, it appears to be related to themes on climate change and some of the different mosaic pieces appear to have been created by students. 4. 4. 400 Years by Madeline Weiner

After exiting the Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail, take a right on Yucca, go straight at intersection of Yucca St. and W Zia Rd., then take a quick left into Ragle Park. Ride the perimeter of the park towards the left until you spot the stone figures! 400 Years was created to commemorate Santa Fe’s 400th anniversary in 2010. 5. 5. On the way back from Ragle Park, out the murals located on the sides of the building located at the corner of W Zia Rd. and Yucca St.

Hop on the start of Arroyo de los Chamisos Trail by the right side of Yucca St. There, at the intersection of two trails you’ll find a curious squiggly 7. sculpture!

7. Alien Outerspace Mural , Title & Artist Unknown

After riding to the end of Yucca St., take a left on Siringo Rd. and continue straight until you see General Franklin E. Miles Park. Take a slight right into the park and check out the first collection of public art by the concession stand! 8.

8. St. Francis by Ivan Dimitrov

Continue to ride around General Franklin E. Miles Park until you happen upon a sculpture of St. Francis with a few bird friends. 9. 9. Java Joes Mural, Title & Artist Unknown After a short jaunt on Camino Carlos Rey, take a left on Cerrillos, then take a right on Siler Rd. The first art stop on Siler is the new heart mural at Java Joes - a nice reminder that we are all in this together! 10. 10. Mural Collection, Multiple Artists

Continue down Siler Rd. a little longer til you come across this colorful collection of murals hung on fence.

Just past the mural collection, you’ll soon spot a solar sculpture composed of tubes and poles of varying size. 12. 12. Magna Flow , Title & Artist Unknown

Once you’ve circled back from the Solar Sculptures, turn right on to Rufina St. In front of the Monkey’s Tire Shop, you’ll find these friendly figures waving from the sidewalk!

13. Meow Wolf Sculptures, Multiple Artists

Ride a little further down Rufina St., take a left on Rufina Circle and check out the Public Art sculptures outside Meow Wolf! 14. La Acequia by Hank Saxe and Cynthia Patterson 14.

Continue on Rufina St. until you reach Calle Atajo. Take a right and ride until you see Las Acequias Park. 15. 15. Untitled Bus Shelter by Joe Tyler

Loop back to Rufina St., then take a left on S Meadows Rd. When you reach Airport Road, take a right and you’ll spot the next public art piece at the Bus Stop!

16. Woven Olla by Randy Walker

Continue on Airport Rd. then take a left on Country Club Rd. Near the corner of Jaguar Dr. you’ll find the art piece (and potentially a few 16. others!) at the Southside Library.

17. Cuentos del Camino/Road Stories 17. by Christopher Gibson and Mary Antonia

After making your way back over toV egas Verdes Dr., you’ll find the last few pieces of art! The rstfi is at the bus stop on the corner of Cerrillos Rd. Should you choose to ride further you may encounter more in the series (of Cuentos del Camino). 18. 18. Reverence by Pearson

Finally, also on the corner of Cerrillos Rd. and Vegas Verdes Dr., you’ll find a sculpture of a woman with birds on her hands in front of the Enterprise Bank and Trust. Congrats on completing the ride! Of course, there are still more Public Art pieces to be discovered so always keep an eye out.
