The thing I have enjoyed most about studying at College is that the subjects I am studying often link to current events and real-life issues. For example, Economics helps me to better understand the economy that we live in, so it directly affects me, which makes it even more interesting. Newman has a great reputation, which really attracted me to study here. Once I “came to look around on the Open Day, I was convinced that Newman was the right place for me, as I had the chance to speak to students about their experiences. The teachers here have really helped me get to where I want to be, they are always willing to go out of their way to help. It’s important to keep your attendance as high as you can, because the more you are here, the more you will learn and always take any opportunities that you are offered, like trips or work experience too! ”
