Overview of BHCOC and Member The Black History Committee Consists of Members Representing Government and Private Companies QsxaMission Statement . z The Black History Committee of Orange County, Inc. is committed to educating our citizens on American History. We are committed to improving the dialogue as it pertains to contributions African-Americans have made to society as a whole. We are also committed to supporting our community by donating funds to students who wish to continue their education by obtaining an undergraduate or graduate degree, and to help the disadvantaged at large. QsxaGoals of BHCOC 1. The BHCOC celebrates the achievements . z and contributions African Americans have made to society. 2. The committee’s goal is to ensure that Black History continue to be a vital part of American History. 3. The BHCOC believes in showcasing the rich culture and contributions that African Americans have made by displaying their Art, Dance, Music, Songs, Literature Books, Artifacts, Clothing, Rich Soul Food and Much More.
