In this statement, the man all believe to head the Catholic Church tells the world that: “The pluralism and the diversity of religions, colour, sex, race and language are willed by God.” This assertion is flatly heretical, and no true pope could ever utter an heretical statement, delivered as truth to the entire world, as the Church Herself has always taught. One theologian of the church in Rome now passing as Catholic has already admitted Francis’ statement is “puzzling and potentially problematic.” 1 Yet this is only one in a series of “official Church documents,” issued over a 60- years-plus time span, that have consistently contradicted Church doctrine and disfigured the face of Christ’s earthly Bride. These developments only reflect the finishing touches applied to the final stages of Liberalism and its ultimate goal, global Socialism, which has gradually evolved over the past 500 years beginning with Luther’s revolt in 1517. This e-book is intended as a complement for and introduction to The Phantom Church in Rome, which treats of the very issues regarding religious freedom addressed in the agreement with the Imam. The Phantom Church in Rome, then, is more essential than ever before in understanding the true scope of the dark night that is about to engulf the world. Liberalism is a much misunderstood and misrepresented topic. The majority of those protesting Liberalism today have no idea of its true origins and are largely ignorant of the important role this movement has played in shaping the course of government, politics, history and even religion itself. For that reason, this e-book will, for the most part, be a long-forgotten history lesson, one that needs to be revisited. For as the saying goes, those ignorant of the tragic errors made throughout history are bound to repeat them. Many may think they know the principles guiding Liberalism, but few indeed understand its complex religious history and even fewer know the forces propelling it. From a Catholic perspective, one of the best-known

“Artisans … for Antichrist”: Jews, Radical Catholic Traditionalists, and the Extreme Right Mark Weitzman* The Israeli historian, Israel J. Yuval, recently wrote: The Christian-Jewish debate that started nineteen hundred years ago, in our day came to a conciliatory close. … In one fell swoop, the anti-Jewish position of Christianity became reprehensible and illegitimate. … Ours is thus the first generation of scholars that can and may discuss the Christian-Jewish debate from a certain remove … a post- polemical age.1 This appraisal helped spur Yuval to write his recent controversial book Two Nations in Your Womb: Perceptions of Jews and Christians in late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. Yuval based his optimistic assessment on the strength of the reforms in Catholicism that stemmed from the adoption by the Second Vatican Council in 1965 of the document known as Nostra Aetate. Nostra Aetate in Michael Phayer’s words, was the “revolution- ary” document that signified “the Catholic church’s reversal of its 2,000 year tradition of antisemitism.”2 Yet recent events in the relationship between Catholics and Jews could well cause one to wonder about the optimism inherent in Yuval’s pronouncement. For, while the established Catholic Church is still officially committed to the teachings of Nostra Aetate, the opponents of that document and of “modernity” in general have continued their fight and appear to have gained, if not a foothold, at least a hearing in the Vatican today. And, since in the view of these radical Catholic traditionalists “[i]nternational Judaism wants to radically defeat Christianity and to be its substitute” using tools like the Free- * Director of Government Affairs, Simon Wiesenthal Center.

Portier, Ph.D. In its analysis of mystical body of Christ theology in the twentieth century, this dissertation identifies three major streams of mystical body theology operative in the early part of the century: the Roman, the German-Romantic, and the French-Social- Liturgical. Delineating these three streams of mystical body theology sheds light on the diversity of scholarly positions concerning the heritage of mystical body theology, on its mid twentieth-century recession, as well as on Pope Pius XII’s 1943 encyclical, Mystici Corporis Christi, which enshrined “mystical body of Christ” in Catholic magisterial teaching. Further, it links the work of Virgil Michel and Louis-Marie Chauvet, two scholars remote from each other on several fronts, in the long, winding French stream.

Venerable Brethren, Health and Apostolic Benediction. 1. It it well known unto all men, and especially to You, Venerable Brothers, with what great care and pasto- ral vigilance Our Predecessors, the Roman Pontiffs, have discharged the Office entrusted by Christ Our Lord to them, in the Person of the Most Blessed Peter, Prince of the Apostles, have unremittingly discharged the duty of feeding the lambs and the sheep, and have diligently nour- ished the Lord’s entire flock with the words of faith, im- bued it with salutary doctrine, and guarded it from poi- soned pastures. And those Our Predecessors, who were the assertors and Champions of the august Catholic Re- ligion, of truth and justice, being as they were chiefly solicitous for the salvation of souls, held nothing to be of so great importance as the duty of exposing and condemn- ing, in their most wise Letters and Constitutions, all her- esies and errors which are hostile to moral honesty and to the eternal salvation of mankind, and which have fre- quently stirred up terrible commotions and have dam- aged both the Christian and civil commonwealths in a disastrous manner.

From 2011 to 2018 I benevolently volunteered to work with and on behalf of the purported “Catholic” sedevacantist organization known as Most Holy Family Monastery (MHFM); which is owned and operated by the Dimond brothers who reside in Fillmore, NY. I made initial contact with MHFM via e-mail and corresponded after that, on a regular basis, with one of their monks named Jerome Torres. During my time with MHFM my primary task focused on translating their written material from English into French and creating / editing French version related videos. All of this work for MHFM commenced after I had first created, on my own volition, the website la- foi.fr. At the time I was sincerely and deeply involved in the evangelical activism of promulgating what I firmly held to be the one and only traditional faith necessary to obtain salvation.

  • Baptism of Desire and Theological Principles (2000)
Baptism of Desire and Theological Principles (2000) by Rev. Anthony Cekada What principles must Catholics follow to arrive at the truth? OVER THE YEARS I have occasionally encountered traditionalists, both lay and clerical, who followed the teachings of the late Rev. Leonard Feeney and the St. Benedict Center concerning the axiom “Outside the Church there is no salvation.” Those who fully embrace the Feeneyite position reject the common Catholic teaching about baptism of desire and baptism of blood. Catholics, however, are not free to reject this teaching, be- cause it comes from the Church’s universal ordinary magiste- rium. Pius IX stated that Catholics are required to believe those teachings that theologians hold “belong to the faith,” and to sub- ject themselves to those forms of doctrine commonly held as “theological truths and conclusions.” In 1998, I photocopied material on baptism of desire and baptism of blood from the works of twenty-five pre-Vatican II theologians (including two Doctors of the Church), and assem- bled it into a dossier. All, of course, teach the same doctrine. Behind the Feeneyite rejection of this doctrine lies a rejection of the principles that Pius IX laid down, principles that form the basis for the whole science of theology. He who rejects these cri- teria rejects the foundations of Catholic theology and constructs a peculiar theology of his own — one where his own interpreta- tion of papal pronouncements is every bit as arbitrary and idio- syncratic as a free-thinking Baptist’s interpretation of the Bible. It is utterly pointless to argue with such a person over baptism of blood and baptism of desire, because he does not accept the only criteria on which a theological issue must be judged.

Our twenty-first century appears to be more and more an age of “digital dependence”. From computers to tablets and smartphones, screens have been invading our daily life, up to the point that it seems that we need them for everything. We must confess that many of us are addicted to this digital culture. For sure, new technologies could be used to access books that are out-of-print or would be difficult to find but, to be honest, few are the people who spend their time reading the complete works of St. Augustine or St. Thomas Aquinas on Kindle! According to a study1 posted on the Pew Research Center website early this year, about a quarter of American adults (24%) say they haven’t read a book in whole or in part in the past year, whether in print, electronic or audio form.
