First Olympic Memory…. “I remember watching the 1996 Olympic Games and I saw the Women's Gymnastic team go out there and have a phenomenal competition. It came down to Kerri Strug, she had to land her vault and she did it on a broken foot. When she landed it, the place went crazy and I just have this perfect memory of seeing them on the awards podium with gold medals around their neck. The National Anthem was playing and that was the moment when I realized, I've been doing gymnastics for awhile and its fun but it's time to commit myself to this idea of the Olympic Games.”
