Our very own Animal Care and Education Coordinator, Ashley, was honored recently with the Charlie Green Award at the Turtle and Tortoise Preservation Group (TTPG) Conference! The Charlie Green award is named after the late devoted turtle keeper of the same name, often lovingly referred to as the ‘Turtle Man’. Green was a dedicated enthusiast who inspired many with his love and commitment to turtles, tortoises, and their conservation. Zoo Med Labs President, Gary Bagnall recently acquired a little piece of Reptile History!
