The vermicompost produced from the unit is used as manure in the parks to enhance their growth. The natural manure is also supplied to farmers in the district to swap chemical-laden pesticides. A new unit was also set up in Prakasam district at Vaddipadu village of Donakonda mandal. A solid waste management unit was set-up from where vermicompost is sourced. After obtaining great results, the eco-friendly practice is being implemented across Tother districts.
