Rally Italia Sardegna 2021

The Rally Italia Sardegna 2021 will be the 18th edition held in this amazing island. As the past 5 years, the rally will be held in the northern part of the island, being the fifth round of the World Rally Championship and scheduled from the 3rd to the 6th of June.

This year, the rally base will move from Alghero to Olbia. Only the ceremonial start will take place in Alghero, which had hosted the event in the last seven years. In Olbia, the service park will be located at Molo Brin close to the center of the Gallura’s capital.

Regarding the event itself, it will consist of 20 special stages divided amongst three legs (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) with a total of 305.52 timed km.

The first leg includes 128.16 timed km and consists of four stages repeated twice and will take place in the morning in Monte Acuto (Filigosu and Terranova) and in the afternoon in Alta Gallura (Tempio and Tula).

On Saturday there will be another 132.28 timed km, with 4 special stages repeated twice again set in Monte Acuto (Coiluna and Monte Lerno) in the morning, and then in the afternoon in Anglona (Castelsardo) and Gallura (a new SS in Bortigiadas).

The final leg of 44.88 timed km will have two new special stages repeated twice on the north coast of Gallura. Braniatogghiu, which returns after ten years, and the new Power Stage of Rena Majore will host the rally’s final action.

Since 2016, 4 editions have been won by the Hyundai WRT (2 for Thierry Neuville and 2 for Dani Sordo). The other winner was Ott Tanak in his times with Ford, and who is now part of Hyundai. RALLY ITALIA BOOKING & PACK OVERVIEW HELICOPTER PACKS SARDEGNA CANCELLATION POLICY

Helicopter Rally Packs Overview

The helicopter rally packs that will be available for Rally Italia Sardegna will be divided into 3 main packs:

1. PLATINUM PACK

This pack gives the guests the chance to fly to ALL the stages of the rally:

- Friday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 8 stages. - Saturday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 8 stages. - Sunday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 4 stages.

Option to attend ALL 20 STAGES with a special discount.

2. GOLD PACK

Lighter version of the platinum pack, but still a lot of stages to fly to:

- Friday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 4 stages. - Saturday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 4 stages. - Sunday: Helicopter transfer to a total of 2 stages.

Option to attend to all 3 rally days with a special discount.

3. SILVER PACK

Perfect option to have a “quick taste” of a helicopter flight:

- Friday: Transfer to 2 morning or afternoon stages. - Saturday: Transfer to 2 morning or afternoon stages.

4. DISCOVERY

Discover the advantage of travelling to a stage by helicopter:

Cancellation Policy v If the Rally is done without spectators or cancelled, all money will be refunded. v If the Rally is not cancelled, therefore done in normal conditions, and there is a pack cancellation, the following will be applied: o Cancellation done 30 days prior to event: 50% of the total pack price will have to be paid. o Cancellation done 21 days prior to event: 75% of the total pack price will have to be paid. o Cancellation done 15 days prior to event: 100% of the total pack price will have to be paid. v If bad weather conditions make flights impossible (pilot being the sole judge), 50% of the forecasted cost of helicopters will be invoiced and will cover fees for helicopter set-up and craft standstill.
