IBCA lndividual Women's World Championship for Blind and Visually lmpaired 2020 Invitation Circular

The International Braille Chess Association (IBCA) and the Association "AEPA" invite all Blind visually impaired women of the IBCA member countries to participate in the IBCA Women's World Chess Individual Championship 2020 in Luchon - France.

Situated in Luchon (south France, 90 km south form Toulouse), Les Balcons des Pyrénées is located in the heart of a 5.7 hectare park. It enjoys a preserved environment in the heart of the Pyrenees. Its ideal location gives you access to the city center and the Luchon thermal spa on foot. The rooms are located in small buildings of Pyrenean style of two or three levels. This is also an ideal place for active people and families, as the hotel offers a wide range of attractions for children.

Prices: Single room: 80 Euro per day. For 11 days with full board 880 Euro per person. Double room: 65 Euro per day. For 11 days full board 715 Euro per person. The price includes: accommodation and 3 meals per day (buffet menu), transport from and to the airport or train station in Toulouse, one free entry to the Vaporarium (natural hammam unique in

Europe) and visit to Superbagnères.

Payment: All delegations must deposit 100% of the total cost for the participation in the tournament before 31.05.2020 to the following bank account: Account number (IBAN): FR76 1313 5000 8008 0062 2631 507 The IBCA member countries must pay the annual fee of 150 Euros before the start of the first round to IBCA.

Transportation: Organizers are obliged to provide transportation from and to Toulouse Airport and railway station without any cost for all participants. All delegations must send the flight or train details (date, time and flight or train number for arrival/departure) to the organizing committee before 30.06.2020.

Conditions: The championship will be played in 9 rounds Swiss System in accordance with FIDE regulations. The playing time will be 90 minutes+ 30 seconds for each move. Each player should bring a Braille and digital chess clock. The player who has the white color should bring a chess clock for the . Non-braille will not be allowed. Players placed first, second and third will be awarded respectively with gold, silver and bronze medals.
