We'll pay for your experience! Ask about our Try-Before- You-Buy program... Try before you buy

If you're not familiar with our boats, we offer a Try-Before-You-Buy experience before you make a final decision. You can try any of our new, Jeanneaus or Fountaine Pajot catamarans at participating bases. Try it just to try it, or make Try-before-you-buy a part of your charter or ASA course. This approach offers an ideal way to actually live-aboard the boat you're considering for up to 3 days--on us. In addition to experiencing the boat, our customers report that this is a great way to help decide on options they want to add, or don't need at all.

Try our boats. Meet our friendly people. Learn about different sailing areas. Our goal is to make it easy and show you what we can do for you.

Above is a highlighted look at your choices. Click https://www.atlantic- cruising.com/?attachment_id=6766 to get your copy of your free Try-before- you-buy certificate.

Charter or take a course, we're all of the places you want to be...

We offer the full range of sailing courses at most of our affiliate bases. ASA is the world-wide, recognized standard for learning to sail, or getting certified to charter a boat. Generally you take up to 4 courses to get certified for chartering.

This is a program similar to learning to fly. You get checked out on each level, and your new skills get added to your log book. You can audit earlier courses if you already have some experience.

With our approach, you start by forming your own group, or joining one of ours. You actually stay aboard the boat full time during your course. So it's a vacation. A sailing course. A chance to see how the boat "lives". All in one. At the end of the day, this is a better more meaningful experience that actually costs less than staying at a resort hotel and going out on a day-sailor.

ASA shows first courses on a smaller boat, but you can do them on our live-aboard cruising boats as well. You can start at one base and finish at a different base--the choices are yours.

Typically you can take course 1-3 in a weekend, or 5 day during the week. And the final charter ready course over a separate weekend. It is possible to do all 4 in a week if you're ambitious. You can organize your own group, or join one of ours.

Now, after trying one out, maybe you'll find yourself in the position of considering owning a boat. Of course we offer new and used boats for private owners, but actually, a majority of our clients find our Business Ownership approach the least expensive way to own a boat, while making their lives "Less taxing". Business Yacht Ownership ®...

We invented the concept back in the 70's and have helped over 1,000 people fulfill their goals of "Owning for less". We place private boats with private management companies. You choose: • The layout and equipment • How much you want to use the boat • Where you want to keep it, and how long you want to stay in the program.

Many people use this approach to build equity towards their ultimate retirement boat. By setting your boat up as a business, you can qualify for the active tax advantages. With this approach, you don't need to charter so much to break even or build equity, and maintenance is facilitated at the level of private boats, not charter boats.
