Organization & Experience Overview

FOX Sports is the umbrella entity representing ’s wide array of multi-platform US-based sports assets. Built with brands capable of reaching more than 100 million viewers in a single weekend, FOX Sports includes ownership and interests in linear networks, digital and mobile programming, broadband platforms, multiple web sites, joint-venture businesses and several licensing partnerships. FOX Sports includes the sports television arm of Broadcasting Company; FS1; FS2; Fox’s 22 regional sports networks, their affiliated regional web sites and FSN national programming; Plus and FOX Soccer 2Go; and FOX College Sports. In addition, FOX Sports also encompasses FOX Sports Digital, which includes FOXSports.com and FOX Sports GO. Also included in the Group are FOX’s interests in joint-venture businesses and BTN 2Go, as well as licensing agreements that establish the FOX Network. This opportunity will allow an individual to experience and understand how various disciplines such as production and marketing work together to assist with putting sports programming on television screens across the nation.

Job Description

The individual(s) will be a part of a three week rotational schedule that would have them shadow employees and/or executives in departments:

• Content & Original Programming • Studio Shows • Production Management

Schedule Overview

Each week the individual(s) will be assigned to a specific department where they will observe the day to day operations and learn the intricacies of the group and how they contribute to developing, producing and broadcasting content.

The Content & Original Programming Department is responsible for producing and overseeing all non- live event programming across FS1 and FS2. This includes all day-to-day production of current FS1 studio shows (First Things First, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed, The Herd with , Speak For Yourself with Whitlock and Wiley and Lock It In) as well as the development of new studio

programming for the channel. Additionally, Content & Original Programming is responsible for all current original programming as well as the development, acquisition and execution of short and long form documentary content.

The Studio Shows group produces all studio content for Major League (MLB), and College ; but not limited to pregame shows, postgame shows and halftime. The group is also responsible for the nightly studio show, MLB Whiparound during the baseball season.

Production Management oversees the production of all of FOX Sports’ NFL game broadcasts, including . That involves all the production employees and announcers that work on each of the games throughout the country.
