CONGRATULATIONS Skipton Primary School Skipton Primary School Girls Girls Team Cricketers Win State Finals Report from Mr Tromp Winners of 2018 T20 Blast. You may recall that last year both teams made the state finals in the T20 Blast cricket, and the girls went on to become State Champions. This year the girls team also made the State Final, the boys missing out by one match. The girls had to win three games to make the final, which they did. Last Friday, the girls played Waverley Christian Girls again in the final, the same team who made the 2017 final. It was an excellent match of skills which the girls won 228 to 124, making it the second year that they have become Victorian State Champions. The day was well-attended by many other students, teachers and parents, and we had a great day. Congratulations girls, and their coaches; Miss Pollock and Mr Baker.
