Guided Tour of “/HSBC Kong Sevens 2018”

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the have organised guided tour of the “Cathay Pacific/HSBC 2018” for interested students to further promote the development of sports in Hong Kong, to enhance students’ interests and knowledge in rugby, and to raise their level of tournament appreciation. At the event day, staff of the will introduce the sport of rugby, various teams and players. Details of the programme are as follows:

Programme : Guided Tour of “Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2018” Date : 6 April 2018 (Friday) Time : Entrance Periord – 12:00nn - 7:00pm (All participants including teachers and students of the same school must enter the Stadium at one go.) Guided Tour Period – 12:30pm - 1:30pm Event Period – 12:00nn – 9:30pm Location : (, ) Arrangement of : The guides of Hong Kong Rugby Union will introduce the background and Guided Tour Sevens, tournament format & information, teams backgroundand the rules of . (The duration will be 30 minutes) Fees : Free of charge Capacity : Limited quota; application will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Seating : Upper level will be arranged in first come first serve basis. Arrangement Targets : Welcome primary and secondary students to join. (Students should be accompanied by teachers) (Teachers and students in the ratio of 1:10 for primary schools; 1:20 for secondary schools) Enrolment Period : 9 to 23 March 2018 Transport : Schools should arrange their own transport for students. Schools may apply Arrangements for a “vehicle drop-off permit” through the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

“Vehicle drop-off permits” will be distributed in ‘First come first served’ basis. There will be road closures or traffic control measures near the Hong Kong Stadium. Please follow the instructions of the Organiser or the police for drop-off points, and arrival times. Details will be announced in due course. Schedule : The tournament schedule will be uploaded to the website of the Cathay Information Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens before one week of the programme. Remarks： * 1. Due to road closures and traffic control measures, the police may restrict some sections of roads. Please follow the police’s instructions to drop-off and pick-up participants. All vehicles should present a “vehicle drop-off permit”. “vehicle drop-off permits” will be distributed in ‘First come first served’ basis. 2. Schools accepted for the guided tours must present the confirmation letter stamped with the chop of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department to the staff of the Hong Kong Rugby Union at the“Entrance for Guided Tour” of the Hong Kong Stadium. 3. The information provided by you will only be used for the enrolment of recreation and sports activities organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Hong Kong Rugby Union, compilation of statistics, future contact purpose and opinion survey. 4. Schools that have not received《Acknowledgment Receipt》from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department on or before 29 Mar 2018 should contact our staff on 2601 7607. Otherwise, the Department may not able to process the relevant applications. Declaration：I (Applicant/Teacher-in-charge) hereby declare the above information is correct to the best of my/our knowledge. All participants already have the consent of their parents/guardians or the persons authorised by their parents/guardians to participate the above activity, and they do not suffer from any illness that renders them unfit for the activity. The Organiser and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department shall not be liable for any injury or death which the participant may suffer in this activity, if the cause of injury or death is due to his/her negligence or inadequacy in health and fitness.
