Here We Are at 500! the BRL’S 500 to Be Exact and What a Trip It Has Been
el Fans, here we are at 500! The BRL’s 500 to be exact and what a trip it has been. Imagibash 15 was a huge success and the action got so intense that your old pal the Teamster had to get involved. The exclusive coverage of that ppv is in this very issue so I won’t spoil it and give away the ending like how the ship sinks in Titanic. The Johnny B. Cup is down to just four and here are the representatives from each of the IWAR’s promotions; • BRL Final: Sir Gunther Kinderwacht (last year’s winner) • CWL Final: Jane the Vixen Red (BRL, winner of 2017 Unknown Wrestler League) • IWL Final: Nasty Norman Krasner • NWL Final: Ricky Kyle In one semi-final, we will see bitter rivals Kinderwacht and Red face off while in the other the red-hot Ricky Kyle will face the, well, Nasty Normal Krasner. One of these four will win The self-professed “Greatest Tag team wrestler the 4th Johnny B Cup and the results will determine the breakdown of the prizes. ? in the world” debuted in the NWL in 2012 and taunt-filled promos earned him many enemies. The 26th Marano Memorial is also down to the final 5… FIVE? Well since the Suburban Hell His “Teamster Challenge” offered a prize to any Savages: Agent 26 & Punk Rock Mike and Badd Co: Rick Challenger & Rick Riley went to a NWL rookie who could capture a Tag Team title draw, we will have a rematch. The winner will advance to face Sledge and Hammer who won with him, but turned ugly when he kept blaming the CWL bracket. -

Eric Brighteyes
Eric Brighteyes H. Rider Haggard Eric Brighteyes Table of Contents Eric Brighteyes..........................................................................................................................................................1 H. Rider Haggard...........................................................................................................................................1 i Eric Brighteyes H. Rider Haggard DEDICATION Madam, You have graciously conveyed to me the intelligence that during the weary weeks spent far from his home−−in alternate hope and fear, in suffering and mortal trial−−a Prince whose memory all men must reverence, the Emperor Frederick, found pleasure in the reading of my stories: that "they interested and fascinated him." While the world was watching daily at the bedside of your Majesty's Imperial husband, while many were endeavouring to learn courage in our supremest need from the spectacle of that heroic patience, a distant writer little knew that it had been his fortune to bring to such a sufferer an hour's forgetfulness of sorrow and pain. This knowledge, to an author, is far dearer than any praise, and it is in gratitude that, with your Majesty's permission, I venture to dedicate to you the tale of Eric Brighteyes. The late Emperor, at heart a lover of peace, though by duty a soldier of soldiers, might perhaps have cared to interest himself in a warrior of long ago, a hero of our Northern stock, whose days were spent in strife, and whose latest desire was Rest. But it may not be; like the Golden Eric of this Saga, and after a nobler fashion, he has passed through the Hundred Gates into the Valhalla of Renown. To you, then, Madam, I dedicate this book, a token, however slight and unworthy, of profound respect and sympathy. -

During the process, I faced numerous challenges from the narrowing of content and focus on the subject at hand, to seemingly unjust legal and administrative circumstances. Dr. Jonathan Adams, whose gracious support, interest, and tutelage, and knowledge in the fields of both music and communications studies, are greatly appreciated. Dr. Gary Heald encouraged me to complete my thesis as the foundation for future doctoral studies, and dissertation research. -

Teaching for Social Justice
TEACHING FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE SOLIDARITY IN UPRISINGS & CRISIS 20th Annual Conference OCT 17, 2020 Centering Black Lives NOV 14, 2020 Unsettling Settler Colonialism DEC 12, 2020 Another World is Possible ON NATIVE LAND Teachers 4 Social Justice is situated on what many call “San Francisco” which is stolen, occupied, unceded Raymatush Ohlone lands. The theft of this land from Ohlone people is part of an ongoing genocide taking place for centuries. These words are to acknowledge and express gratitude and appreciation for the Ohlone people who have been living on and working this land for centuries. We recognize that our work must go beyond words, to stand with Ohlone people, and all other First Nations who are working to protect their land and culture. We recognize the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous people and their traditional territories. We also recognize that Ohlone people, and many other urban or rural Native communities, are alive and thriving today, and our work must include their voices and wisdom in our classrooms and schools. It’s important to note that the Ohlone nation is still not federally recognized. We also want to lift up that Native nations have enduring systems of government, they are not ethnic groups, but nations with tribal sovereignty. Today, in collaboration with this land acknowledgement, we ask that you commit to: ● Researching more about the people whose land we are currently on, or on which each of us teach on, or on which my family lives on. Start by downloading the Native Land App to find out what indigenous land you are residing on. -
