Art, Music and Dance! Annual Family Day at the Art Gallery of Hamilton

Free art-making, exhibition tours and performances by Turkey Rhubarb and Ballet Jörgen

November 11, 2015 - Gather the family together and take in an afternoon of free fun activities at the Art Gallery of Hamilton Annual Family Day on Sunday, November 29 starting at 1:00 p.m.

AGH Annual Family Day Schedule: • 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - drop by at any time for family-friendly art-making activities; • 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - experience the rare opportunity of a behind- the-scenes glimpse of the AGH collection with tours of the AGH vault; • 2:00 p.m. - take in a guided exhibition tour of the contemporary art installations featured in are you experienced?; • 3:00 p.m. - be entertained by the musical antics of Turkey Rhubarb and the engaging dancers of Ballet Jörgen.

Special Family Day door prizes include four tickets to Ballet Jorgen’s performance of The Nutcracker, four signed The Nutcracker posters and two signed pointe shoes, and one Art Gallery of Hamilton Family Membership.

Art-making: anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

AGH Vault Tours: 1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit the AGH Front Desk upon your arrival to receive a ticket and reserve your spot.

Guided exhibition tour: 2:00 p.m.

Performances by Turkey Rhubarb and Ballet Jörgen: 3:00 p.m.
