SERIES WITH THE HUSKIES: Washington leads 161-90, but the Cougars claimed their only Pacific-10 win this season (81-79) Jan. 31 in Pullman. COUGARS IN THE PAC-10 RANKINGS: Sophomore Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) leads the Pacific- 10 Conference with 2.08 steals per game…he is fourth in assists (5.00 per game), eighth in scoring (16.5 points per game), ninth in assist/turnover ratio (1.51) and 10th in three-point field goals (1.76 per game)…junior Jerry McNair (Torrance, Calif.) is sixth in three-point field goals per game (2.16)…senior Mike Bush (Riverside, Calif.) is ninth in free throw percentage (.810)…senior J Locklier (Rock Hill, S.C.) is 14th in rebounding (6.1 per game). BUSH REACHES MILESTONES: Senior Mike Bush (Riverside, Calif.) has scored 220 points this season to give him 1,052 in his career and place him 20th on the WSU all-time scoring list…he became the 23rd player in Washington State history to record 1,000 or more career points, Jan. 26 against Oregon…Bush needs 10 points to surpass Ed Gayda (1947-50) for 19th place…with one steal at Arizona (Feb. 9), Bush increased his career total to 148 and passed Bennie Seltzer (1990-93) into fourth on the WSU all-time list. MOORE IS BETTER: Sophomore Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) is averaging 5.00 assists per game which would tie him with Brad Jackson (1974) for the third best single season in WSU history…he has 52 steals this season and 92 in his career…he is tied with Isaac Fontaine (1995) and Terrence Lewis (1991-92) for 10th on the Cougar single season career lists, respectively…Moore’s 125 assists this season places him eighth on the WSU single season list and are two shy of Bennie Seltzer (1993) for seventh…he is on pace to finish in a tie for fifth with Craig Ehlo (1983) in single season assists…Moore is averaging 20.3 points per game in his last 10 outings. GET THAT SHOT OUTTA HERE: With two blocks against Stanford, Feb. 16, junior Milton Riley (Gardena, Calif.) moved into eighth place on the WSU career list with 57. MOORE’S EFFORT NOT ENOUGH IN LOSS TO CARDINAL: Sophomore Marcus Moore (Inglewood, Calif.) poured in 29 points on 13-of-21 shooting, but the Cougars came up short in a 76-63 loss to No. 12 Stanford, Feb. 16.
