In 2014, we decided to reorganise the resources 2013 and Department of system, based on the experience collected. Further developments are foreseen for 2016. Main pillars of Methodology the satisfaction measurement system: Technical side: Ms Angéla KÁTAINÉ • We have our own system for preparing online questionnaires. MAROSI • A separate application was created to place simple, one-choice questions (Question of the Week on the [email protected] main site, http://www.ksh.hu/?lang=en, usually applied for quiz-like questions, occasionally for placing Deputy head of Department questions on user satisfaction). of Dissemination • We have a webanalytical tool, and we also use Google webanalytics to complement its operation. Focus of measurement: • products; • services; • subject matter statistics; • website and its applications; • other, such as trust in statistics, image of HCSO etc (this is an inexplored area as of yet, questionnaires and methods would be interesting for us to see). Methods and channels: • Questionnaire-based surveys, mainly online. In some cases and for certain user groups, printed questionnaires are applied. • Focus-groups. • User forums. • Face-to-face in-depth interviews. • Half-structured telephone interviews. The various methods are used with one serving as a basis for another where possible, e.g. gaining general information on the website by an online questionnaire, focusing on specific problems and their solutions with a focus-group, and finally checking and testing the renewed website with a focus-group again. Complementary tools were also integrated in the system and used regularly, namely: • analysis of download data of publications, menu items and databases, of used paths on the website, as well as of other data accessible by web analytics; • systematic segmentation of users and inventory of the users as well as of unfulfilled needs. Workflow: An annual plan is elaborated based on the information and requests from departments and considering anticipated or ongoing developments. The respective surveys are carried out with the direction of a project group, involving experts of the Dissemination and the Methodology Departments. Analysis and communication of the results is also their responsibility. The unit having requested the research is responsible for formulating improvement actions and feedback on their implementation. Utilisation of the results: for the annual dissemination programme for the individual publications for technical improvement planning for data collection programme planning Problems and bottlenecks: programming questionnaires (ours is a rather complicated system) sometimes low responsiveness, thus efficient motivation systems would be very interesting to learn of. "do you find our site easy to navigate?" etc. Knowing THAT they find our site modern or not didn't help is in identifying what needed to be improved. We did get around 600 free text replies but these were not very useful to us, mainly because they were relatively few compared to the overall number of replies and they didn't give us enough clues to what worked for users and what didn't.
