Point Foundation empowers promising lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer (LGBTQ) students to achieve their full academic and leadership potential —despite the obstacles often put before them—to make a significant impact on society.

Since its inception, Point has invested more than $18 million in the educa- tion and support of outstanding scholars from every region of the country. National Leadership Point Scholars attend the nation’s top universities and receive the financial Conference, and social capital they need to excel academically, professionally and in Boston, 2014 service to society and the LGBTQ community. This summer, Point Foundation will bring together its accomplished scholars and alumni for a three day conference offering intensive training in areas such as leadership, LGBTQ history, career planning, community service and current events. In July 2016, our National Leadership Conference will be held in Washington D.C.
