ORDER

Sri Ch. Ram Charan has filed complaint dated 21-08-2019 which was received by this Commission on 22-08-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the Public Information Officer/ The Deputy Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal, .

The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the complainant herein filed an application dated 14-09-2018 before the Public Information Officer/ Revenue Divisional Officer, , Medak District requesting to furnish the information under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 on the following points mentioned:

The Revenue Divisional Officer, Toopran Division, Medak District through Lr.No. B/1024/2018 dated 25-09-2018 transferred the 6(1) application under section 6(3) of RTI Act, 2005 to the Public Information Officer/ The Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal to supply the information directly to the complainant under intimation to their office.

Stating that the complainant was not satisfied with the reply of the Public Information Officer, he preferred this complaint before the Commission requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005.

The Public Information Officer/ Naib Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal through Lr.No. RTI/09/2019 dated 12-09-2019 informed to the Commission that the information sought by the complainant has been furnished through courier on 13-09-2019.

In view of the spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, the cases are heard over phone on 10.06.2020 with prior intimation to the concerned parties. The appellant responded and submitted that no information was furnished by the Public Information Officer/ Deputy Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal, Medak District.

The Public Information Officer/ The Deputy Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal, Medak District responded and submitted that complete information was furnished to the appellant vide Lr. No.RTI/09/2019 dt.12-09-2019, he also enclosed a courier receipt as a proof of service.

Heard the appellant and the Public Information Officer and perused the material papers available on record. The Commission observed that the Public Information Officer, has furnished information to the appellant.

Since the Appellant has submitted that he has not received information so far, and the information sought by the Appellant is huge and voluminous, this Commission directs the Public Information Officer/ The Deputy Tahsildar, Chegunta Mandal, Medak District to allow the complainant for personal inspection of records on 30-06-2020 at 11.00 AM to enable him to obtain the required information as sought in the 6(1) application, by giving a advance intimation/notice to the complainant/appellant in writing for inspection of the record and report the compliance of the order to this Commission.

In view of the above direction, the cases are closed.
