Canada vs. Australia: The Canadian women's national team looks to build on its 2012 Olympic bronze as they open the Rio tournament with a Group F soccer prelim against Australia at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo. In the London semifinals, Canada fell to the eventual champion United States 4-3 in an extra-time thriller. U.S. vs. New Zealand: Carli Lloyd leads the U.S. women as they open play in a Group G soccer prelim against New Zealand at Mineirao stadium in Belo Horizonte. Four years ago in London, Lloyd tallied both goals in Team USA's 2-1 victory over Japan, giving the U.S. its third straight Olympic gold. France vs. Colombia: France and Colombia meet for a Group G women's soccer prelim at Mineirao stadium in Belo Horizonte. France was shutout by Canada 1-0 in the bronze medal match four years ago in London.
