Director's Note

Pappu Can't Dance Saala is a special film for me because its idea took birth during my struggling days. I was living as a PG in a Govt. Colony where you are not allowed to sublet the Flat provided by govt. From time to time, the vigilance dept. conducted surprise checks and I was forced to spend the nights in open. A road side tea stall was my refuge at such times. One such occasion, I got talking to a girl who was in the same situation as mine. We talked for hours…about what we did, the city, our home, our aims, life in general… I never met that girl after that day but that meeting stayed with me always and one day it culminated into this story.

This journey of life takes us through many roads…we meet so many fellow travelers on the way… our relationships and interactions with each other defines what we understand of life. Pappu is a story of human understanding. Told in a natural and fun manner. I am sure every viewer will find a part of him or her in this story.

My thanks to my unit, my actors, my assistants and my producer for supporting me and Pappu. God Bless.

Producer's Note

Every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better, so develop an attitude of appreciation and be grateful for everything that happens to you. Really great people make you feel that you too, can become great. This is what comes to my mind when I think of “Pappu Can’t Dance Saala”. Dreams to realize and articulate ideas are always an element to reach the audience’s heart, At R-Vision Pvt. Ltd. It has yet again been reflected in the characters of the movie. Neha Dhupia, Vinay Pathak & Rajat Kapoor have performed their roles to excellence. This is how I intended it to be.

I AM 24

I M 24 is a movie about two characters – a talented writer and a struggling actor, the former being a simpleton while the latter is a compulsive liar. The story humorously unfolds in to an engaging line-up of lies and cover-ups while it underscores the bitter truth of exploitation of new artists in the film industry.

Producer's Note

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. At all times, I haven’t forgotten, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Live the life you have imagined. With this I can say, R Vision India Pvt Ltd has gone confidently in the direction of its dreams with yet another film “I M 24” starring Rajat Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Neha Dhupia & Manjari Phadnis. This special story has largely impressed me with its youthful spirit, eventually leading to the path of success. It’s so true; opposites are not contradictory but complimentary.

In Rahon Se

Stranger, think long before you enter; For these corridors amuse not passing travelers. But if you enter, keep your voice to yourself; Nor should you tinkle and toll your tongue. These columns rose not, for the such as you; But for those urgent pilgrim feet that wander; On lonely ways, seeking the roots of rootless trees.

The earth has many flowery roads, choose one; That please your whim and Gods be with you. But now leave! Leave me to my dark green solitude. Which like the deep green world of the sea; Has it moving shapes, corals, ancient coins; Carved urns and ruins of ancient ships and Goddess; nd mermaids with flowing golden hair; That charms a patch of silent darkness; Into singing sunlight.

The Plot

The protagonists of this film unknowingly undertake this strange journey. Raj (Ashmit Patel), a young lad who has just graduated from an art college, seeks inspiration for his paintings from the ancient ruins of Sumera in Rajasthan. He sets out on a motorcycle with his friend Vikram (Anubhav Anand), engineering graduate, who unlike his friend sees no beauty in the dilapidated and deserted village that they visit.

Here Raj comes across the mysterious Saudamini (Tulip Joshi), an enchanting village belle who appears and disappears like a dream. She surely seems to belong to another era. Then there is a temple priest (Sachin Khedekar), who seems to know everything about Raj’s past and who assures him that his stay amidst the ruins will also be fruitful as every brick, every stone out here has interesting stories to tell. Sitting here in the beautifully lit temple amidst the ruins Raj wonders oblivious of some strange incidents lying in store for him.

His friend Vikram has even more weird experiences. He meets an aghori (Sanjay Narvekar) who shakes the daylights out of him when he makes an entire village disappear. In another eerie experience, he confronts a dead body that all of a sudden begins to talk to him. Raj feels that the temple priest he met the previous night can only solve the mystery behind these strange events. But when Raj and Vikram enters the temple, they are in for another shock. The beautifully carved and appropriately lit temple of the previous night has changed into a dark ruined structure, which looks like it had been deserted since ages! There is no trace of the priest or of the mysterious Saudamini.

How could the temple have changed over night? Did Saudamini and the priest really exist? Or were they just illusions? Was it the Aghori that Vikram met, who was behind all this? Will the search for the mysterious Saudamini provide the answers that Raj and Vikram are seeking?

To know the answers, watch In Rahon Se……

Cast: Ashmit Patel, Tulip Joshi, Anubhav Anand, Sachin khedekar, Sanjay Narwekar

Directors Note

For me this is a film that explores characters at a deeper level, visiting the deep recesses of the human mind. The unknown unseen places that one talks about are nothing but hirethro unexplored places of the human mind. For example, the cold interior of an ancient templeamidst the scorching heat of the desert in Rajasthan, is a strong symbol of the inner calm that one seeks in all one’s life..

For the viewer, In Rahon Se, is certainly a journey worth undertaking – a journey beyond space and time…

Producers Note

I think of dew drops when i think of freshness. I think of the rising sun when i think of newness. and I feel them at the same time when i think of In Rahon Se’s music. I am dedicating my years of hard work and research on music to indian cinema with this movie. With its strong storyline, the movie will take the audience on a journey in time, reflecting various aspects of the human mind, which we are yet to fully explore. Keeping today’s well informed audience in mind, R-vision has not left any stone unturned in bringing quality entertainment to Indian Audiences and this movie will certainly win the hearts of one and all.

Nakshatra

Nakshatra is a romantic thriller that deals with the complexities of life. It is a story that portrays different shades of colors that paint a bond of love between two completely different people. It is a story about a dreamer, whose dream is mislead by destiny, as it charges ahead to prove itself. It is a story about a dreamer who then chases, the law of love, truth, justice and destiny.

According to Hindu mythology, Moon had married all the 27 daughters of king Dakshan, who are the star constellations (27 Nakshatras) in the sky. But he loved to spend time with only his beloved queen Rohini. Other wives complained the matter to their father. Inspite of king Dakshan`s repeated interference, Moon did not rectify his habit. Dakshan finally lost his mind and cursed moon, causing it to wane in size. Moon started diminishing in size, and feeling the ill consequences of it, all the gods intervened and requested the king to revoke the curse. King then assured that only if Moon visits all his wives, he would regain his strength for half a month, constantly waxing and waning in size. That is the reason why Moon visits the entire 27 constellations and spend approximately one day in each constellation… each constellation is divided equally @ 13.20 this is how we arrived at the figure... 27_13.20. However, any connection to mythology, astrology ends here … this film is an action thriller.

The Plot :

When an opportunity to write a script for a movie comes to Ajay, an aspiring script writer, he is thrilled, more by the thought of finally being able to prove himself to Jiya, the girl he loves, than the knowledge that this could very well be the beginning of a bright future in the world of celluloid.

Ajay works hard at getting the script right. Jiya is elated when Ajay’s script is accepted and they get engaged. Things take a turn for the worse when Ajay is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit. Sharad, his friend who had helped him several times in the past, promises to bail him out as soon as possible. Jiya, who has been helping Ajay clear his name, makes a surprising discovery. The fact that she now knows the identity of the killer and the mastermind behind the plot does little to ease her mind.

Producer's Note

"NAKSHATRA" I love the title of the movie..

This film has been a starting road for many, so everyone has put in that extra effort into it. Blood, sweat, tears have gone into making of this film. We shot in over 40 locations,on the streets of Mumbai, jungles, posh Marinas and deserted islands. It was difficult but unique and fulfilling journey.

In my cast, firstly a sincere thanks to Anupamji, for adding his experience and being a part of this film, Milind Soman is an extraordinary talent and easy to work with. He lights up the screen every time he is on it. The freshness and raw talent of my lead pair Shubh and Sabina has added the exuberance of youth to the film. In rest of the cast, we have a mix of experienced seniors and new comers all playing their part brilliantly.

For my director and friend Mohan Savalkar; well, what he has done is there for you to see. Though this is his debut film, but not for a single frame can you say so..

I am fortunate to have a very dedicated team, who has given their best to make Nakshatra a technically sound and creatively brilliant product. I am sure with this film R-Vision will make its mark in the industry.
