The symbols for plus, minus, divide and multiply (+ - / x) are entered by pressing the Star key. Brackets, percentage sign and decimal point are entered by pressing the Hash key. Press the applicable key repeatedly until the desired symbol is shown. Press the key to show the result of the calculation. To clear the screen, press the Down key and then select Clear. A brief reminder text on how to access the mathematical symbols can also be accessed via the Down key.
