1. Inserting levelling spacers

First, we must bear in mind that the support must have a good planimetry for its placement. Once you have spread the adhesive with a notched trowel, place the crosshead on the 4 corners of the tile (5 cm approx.) choosing the crosshead according to the joint width you want to leave (we have self-levelling spacers ranging from 1 to 3 mm). Place the ceramic tile and settle it with a rubber mallet. For larger sizes, we recommend to use more spacers in each side of the piece (+50 cm).

2. Installing the levelling wedge

Insert the levelling wedges into the self-levelling spacer. Push the wedge until it is perfectly locked.

3. Adjusting the levelling tool

Adjust the levelling tool or the levelling on the graduated scale according to the thickness of the ceramic piece. Once adjusted, tighten the screw. After adjusting the tool, we should be able to apply maximum pressure to the wedge.

4. Adjusting the spacers to the tile

Place the tool on the levelling crosshead. Once set fully, push the tool lever or levelling pincers.

5. Setting of the adhesive

When the levelling crossheads are adjusted, allow enough time for the adhesive to set before removing the spacers. Respect the setting times and traffic indicated in the adhesive data sheet.

When set, remove the levelling crossheads. For this, hit with a rubber mallet or foot on the side of the crosshead and in the direction of the joint. Do not hit the wedge.
