Twining Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority 1234 Market Street Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19107 Present Use: Market Street Elevated Railway Station Significance: The 63rd Street Station is an elevated station located above the intersection of Market and 63'd Streets. An intermediary station along the elevated line, it enabled residents within a few-blocks radius as well as passengers transferring from trolley lines to commute on the Elevated to Center City, Philadelphia. The station is a contributing structure within the Market Street Elevated Railway Historic District. The station is significant historically for its role in the residential development of this part of West Philadelphia, and architecturally for its design. Like many of the other stations along the Elevated, the 63rd Street Station embodies the distinctive characteristics of a particular early twentieth-century architectural style. Similar to the 561\ 52"d, and 46th Street Stations located to the east, the 63rd Street Station exhibits classical and eclectic detailing. The eastbound and westbound platform buildings are enclosed with copper paneling and pilasters. -

Line Item #1 SOUTH A. AT&T Station Plaza is located at Broad and Pattison Avenue, Philadelphia. Pa. The Work areas at Pattison Ave. Station Plaza are at existing planting beds, concrete planter containers, and plaza concrete surfaces. In addition to containers, seasonal flowers are to be planted in beds surrounding large air vent on S end of plaza. B. Oregon Station Plaza is located at Broad and Oregon Avenue, Philadelphia. Pa. The Work areas at Oregon Ave. Station Plazas consist of existing concrete planter containers and tree planter beds. C. 69th Street Terminal (Main Entrance) Market Street, Upper Darby Pa. The work area at 69th Street terminal consists of the planting bed areas located at the front entrance on Market Street. Work also includes concrete surfaces in immediate area of work areas. In addition to planters, seasonal flowers are to be planted in the 2 large beds at entrance of facility. D. Yeadon Loop is located on Chester Ave in Yeadon, PA. Contact: Andrew Busch Chief Press Officer SEPTA Moves Safety, Security & Infrastructure Blitz to Allegheny Station Station Open During Work; Early Closures April 23-25 for Intensive Cleaning & Repairs PHILADELPHIA (April 15, 2021) – SEPTA’s efforts to tackle critical safety, security and infrastructure needs along the Market-Frankford Line Stations are continuing with work at the Allegheny Station. This follows successful efforts to address similar needs at the nearby Somerset Station, and the implementation of a new security plan. Allegheny Station will remain open while work is performed, however, early closures are scheduled for three nights starting late next week. From Friday, April 23, through Sunday, April 25, the station will close each night at 8 p.m. and reopen for service at 5 a.m. the following day. This will give crews a full eight-hours between closing and the morning reopening for intensive cleaning efforts, as well as maintenance and repair work. Customers who would normally board or exit at Allegheny Station during these hours on April 23-25 should use Somerset or Tioga Stations. Free transfers to the Route 3 bus will be available to allow customers who normally board at Allegheny Station to access the Market-Frankford Line at either Somerset or Tioga stations. Elevators at Allegheny Station will close starting at 8 p.m. on April 23 and will remain out of service until repairs are completed. A timeline for repairs will then be developed, and a reopening date for the elevators will be announced as soon as details are available. Elevators will remain in service at neighboring Tioga and Somerset Stations, and SEPTA bus service is fully ADA accessible. -

Bidders shall carefully examine the Contract Documents in their entirety as no extra payments or allowance will be made for ignorance of for failure to comprehend, any of the conditions set out anywhere in this entire package. 2. Firm Bids Each bid submitted shall remain firm for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the Bid Opening and may not be withdrawn in whole or in part during that time. 3. Complete Price The price quoted in any bid submitted shall include all items of labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance and other costs necessary to fully complete the work pursuant to the Contract Documents. It is the intention of the Contract Documents to provide and require a completed work project ready for operation. Any work items omitted from such Contract Documents which are clearly necessary for the completion of such work and its appurtenances shall be considered a part of such work although not directly specified or called for in the Contract Documents. The total price quoted for any item(s) shall be deemed by SEPTA to include the costs and NO EXTRAS will be allowed on that account. Bids which purport to exclude these costs will be rejected as non-responsive. 4. Basis of Award An award, if any will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder excluding any cash discount offered for the Total of All item(s) listed in each or any of the two(2) Schedule A forms, per Specifications, if applicable, as deemed in the best interest of SEPTA. -

SOUTHEAST PARTNERSHIP FINALMay 2019 REPORT • Version 1.1 www.PaMobilityPartnerships.com Dear Governor Wolf and Members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly: On behalf of the Southeast Pennsylvania Partnership for Mobility (Partnership) – a collaboration between the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), in coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation – we are pleased to present this vision for mobility in the five-county region and ways for the PTC to stabilize toll rates and expand its system to spur additional economic growth. The enclosed report includes views shared by an Advisory Council comprised of leaders representing the region’s major employers, civic associations, elected offices, and transportation agencies. The Council advised the Partnership with thoughtful guidance, and its wisdom is reflected throughout the report. The report details the extent to which the five-county region has become a powerful economic engine for Pennsylvania, generating 41 percent of all economic activity in the Commonwealth with 32 percent of its population on just 5 percent of its land. It notes that this degree of density and economic productivity is not possible without a high-capacity, comprehensive transportation network to efficiently move people and goods throughout the region. But it warns that the transportation network that is the backbone of this powerful economic engine cannot be taken for granted, and in fact is increasingly at risk. State legislation requiring the PTC to provide toll-backed funding to PennDOT to primarily fund transit operations has contributed to growing debt levels and 11 straight years of toll increases. Act 44-related debt has also constrained the PTC’s ability to advance system improvement projects.
