YES COMMUNITY, the flagship unique community engagement initiative was created with an objective to serve as knowledge exchange platform and connect with all stakeholders in the Branch Serving Area (BSA) on socially and environmentally pertinent issues, thus building strong relations with immediate communities taking our interactions beyond the transactional value. By creating engagement activities, discussions, interactions and knowledge dissemination, the YES BANK Branch endeavours to be the Community Transformation Centre. Over the last 8 years, the YES COMMUNITY programme has helped YES BANK work closely with NGOs, Government bodies, local thought leaders, genuinely concerned about bringing about a positive change in the lives of our stakeholders in the BSA. For every 2,000 pounds of paper recycled, we save 7,000 gallons of water free from chemicals. The amount of wood and paper we throw away is enough to heat 50 million homes for 20 years. Recycled paper requires 64 per cent less energy than making paper from virgin wood pulp, and can save many trees.
