Seattle’s 1 st -round pick (43 rd overall) in 2010 out of Yucaipa High School (CA), Walker went 1-1 with a 1.29 ERA in four relief outings in the AZL last year but had not started until Thursday night…he’s rated the #4 prospect in the system by Baseball America . Beavan is still the last 1 st -rounder to win his debut as a LumberKing…he did it on 4/29/08 vs. Great Lakes at Alliant Energy Field (6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 K)…Beavan would go on to a 10-6 record, 2.37 ERA in 23 starts that year. He’s now with the triple-A Tacoma Rainiers and is 1-0 with a 4.98 ERA in six starts. Snowman is Quality Again: Even though he fell to 1-3 on the season, right-hander Forrest Snow delivered his team-leading third quality start on Wednesday in Peoria…he yielded three runs on nine hits over 7.0 frames, walked none and struck out six. The former Clinton closer is 1-1 with a 2.57 ERA over his last two starts, each 7.0-inning efforts…he earned his first pro win with his first career complete game on 4/29 at Wisconsin, limiting the Rattlers to a run on five hits while striking out seven in a 6-1 victory. His other quality start came in Beloit on 4/12 when he tossed 6.0 no-hit innings in a no-decision (1-0 loss).
