Beautiful restaurant is in traditional Kazakh design and live kazakh music, with absolutely amazing view on the terrace outside. The food is fresh and delicious and staff is polite, the only problem that is all the time fully booked and difficult to find a table outside, but at the end the manager could found it.

Trip to Medeo and Chimbulak (tickets for the aerial lift are included) During a dizzy climb to the Shymbulak glacier, a modern ski resort, you can feel the free spirit of Kazakhstan, the scope of its territories and the beauty of these lands. 2:30 PM - East Kazakhstan Time City tour around Almaty Our guide will start a city tour in the central part of Almaty, with a short stop near the Golden Warrior Monument that represents the independence of Kazakhstan and its citizens.

After passing by the Central Library and the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, and having a look at the new pedestrian Panfilov’s street, you will learn more about the history and development of the southern capital of Kazakhstan from ancient times to the present day.

We will have a walk in the the Park of 28 heroes-panfilovtsy, who gave their lives fighting for the country's independence. Page 6 of 16

We will visit the Ascension Cathedral, located in the Park. It is the oldest building in the city. The cathedral was built of wood without a single nail, but withstood several earthquakes, one of which had a force of 10 points.

We will honor the memory of the soldiers with a minute of silence near the Eternal Flame and head to the Independence Square of Kazakhstan.

Charyn Canyon is a visual aid for geography: here, as in the time machine, one can observe all the processes of formation of rocks and reliefs. The age of the canyon is 12 million years. 7:30 AM - East Kazakhstan Time Arrival at Taraz Taraz - one of the oldest cities of Kazakhstan, which is located on the Great Silk Road. The city is more than 2000 years old. The ruins of the ancient city are found near the central city square. Once this area was the outskirts of the former Taraz. The ancient city is located closer to the river Talas, from it stretched the water supply systems. The ancient city was lying at the intersection of caravan routes, around it, at a distance of 40 km were the satellite towns of Taraz, where tireless archaeologists find watchtowers and fortresses that served as the defense for the Taraz.

8:30 AM - East Kazakhstan Time Excursion at the complex "Akyrtas" World Heritage Site, a cultural object of the Silk Road period Karluk - IX-X centuries.

Akyrtas is a palace complex of the 8th-9th centuries, first mentioned in the diary of the Taoist monk Chan Chun.

The main mystery of Akartys is its purpose. Among the versions we can hear options of the Buddhist or Nestorian monasteries or the Arab palace. According to the version of Taraz journalist Amantai Aizakhmetov, Akyrtas is the settlement of Chigi founded by Alexander the Great. The latest data, obtained as a result of archaeological research, allows us to identify Akyrtas with the medieval city of Kasribas, located on the Great Silk Road. Most scholars believe that Akyrtas was built by the orders of the main organizer of the aggressive campaigns of the Arabs to Central Asia, the Arab commander Kuteyba ibn Muslim in 714-715.

In July 2014, 8 archaeological sites of Kazakhstan, including Akyrtas, were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the "Objects of the Great Silk Road in the Chang'an-Tien Shan Corridor.

Excursion around the museum will allow us to touch the treasures of various expositions, to feel the atmosphere of the past centuries, the importance of fatal historical events, wealth and traditions, the beauty of the region in its development. Three - story house, a sample of architecture of the late XIX century, has become an excellent place for the collection of cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan.

Of particular value are exhibits of the period (8-4 centuries BC) stored in the museum: the Saka warrior's helmet, fragments of weapons, bronze boilers on high pallets.

One of the most common legends tells of the beautiful Aisha, the daughter of Zing Baba and Anuar Begim, who died of a snake bite during her trip to her beloved - Taraz ruler, the brave warrior of Kara khan. According to the legend, the grief-stricken Kara khan, ordered to build a mausoleum over the grave of his young bride, and that this mausoleum would not yield to the beauty of the deceased girl.

9:30 AM - East Kazakhstan Time Transfer to the World Heritage Site "Otrar“ Otrar is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, known in Arab sources as Farab.

The first settlements on the site of the city arose in the VIII century and began to develop actively, forming one of the main points on the Great Silk Road. In the XII century Otrar was already a noisy shopping center, a meeting place for artisans and merchants of various kinds, palaces of well-to-do merchants grew here, typical city quarters grew and caravan - Sarai with travelers from different countries, carrying jewelry, furs, silk and weapons.

The name of one of the most famous and outstanding philosophers of the East, Abu-Nasr al-Farabi, who was born and raised in Otrar, is also associated with this city.

The city of Otrar existed for almost 2 thousand years. In the XIX century due to the drought people left it, and the city gradually emptied and began to collapse. Today in the ancient city scientists work on preservation and conservation of monuments. UNESCO is helping Kazakhstan enormously with this work. Page 12 of 16

3:00 PM - East Kazakhstan Time Visit of the Mausoleum Arystan Baba Not far from the town of Otrar is the mausoleum of the preacher of Islam, a religious mystic who lived in the 12th century, a teacher and spiritual mentor Kh.A. Yassavi, Arystan-Baba (an architectural monument of the 14th century).

The legend says that the great Amir Timur ordered the construction of the mausoleum. But all attempts to erect the walls failed: in the midst of the construction site suddenly there was an enraged green bull that was destroying everything. The saint, who appeared in a dream of Timur, said that first it is necessary to build a mausoleum over the grave of St. Arystan- Baba, and then over the grave of JA Yassawi. What Timur did. Therefore, to this day, pilgrims firstly visit the mausoleum of the teacher Arystan-Baba, and then the mausoleum of Kh.A. Yassavi.

Mausoleum of Arystan Baba is the burial place of the Skin teacher Ahmed Yassaui. According to the legend, when the prophet died, the prophet Muhammad handed over his beads of amanat to Arystan, who handed them to the 11-year-old boy - the future Leather Ahmed Yassaui. Near the mausoleum of Arystan Baba there is a well with very salty water, which has healing properties (Sayram village).

In the mausoleum under the glass the Koran is presented - a magnificent example of medieval calligraphic art.

Transfer to mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yassaui The mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yassaui is a grandiose structure erected in honor of the well-known ancient Turkic thinker and preacher of Sufism Ahmet Yassaui who lived in the 12th century. The poet and mystic, the head of the Turkic branch of Sufism, Khoja Ahmet Khazreti Sultan Yassaui is to this day one of the most admired persons in the Islamic world.

The architecture of the complex uses designs that are a harbinger of intersecting arches, which were finally developed in the subsequent stages of the development of the architecture of the Central Asia.

The mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yassaui is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Page 13 of 16

In the South Kazakhstan region, about 80 km from Shymkent, there is a unique place called the Holy white Mosque or just "AK-mosque" - an object with amazing energy.

Cave AK-Mosque (Baidibek depression) has several legends. According to the first: in the old days there was an underground mosque, which was one of the important places of worship in southern Kazakhstan. From the Central hall in the 4 corners of the world went underground passages, wide 2 carriages, connecting the surrounding of the fortress. Over time, the underground passages fell, and the mosque was empty.

There were no external entrances to the mosque, no one knew where it was. In the early twentieth century, the dome collapsed and a hole appeared. The road to the dungeon and the entrance to it, eventually equipped and now pilgrims began to come here to pray for themselves and their loved ones.

On the way back we will visit the mausoleum of the Holy Kazakh mother Domalak Ana, who lived in the middle ages and was not only a seer ,but also the ancestor of Some Kazakh clans of The older Horde.
