The Taranga Hills are located some 20 km from Vadnagar and are a part of the Aravali range. Apart from the scenic beauty that's all around the place, it's a place of reverence for the followers and believers of . A major attraction in these hills is the Taranga Jain temple, dating back to the 12th century. dynasty. It houses a 5 mt tall structure of second Jain tirthankara, Shri Ajitnath. The exteriors of the temple are carved with interesting figures depicting the culture of the region and times. It was built by the ruler of the Solanki Rajput dynasty. The hills are also dotted with tiny-looking white umbrella-like structures, quite near a shrine that's located uphill.
