Monica Ramirez is a based, professional dancer from Yuma, . She began her dance training at the age of 7 with a full scholarship to Yuma’s most prestigious ballet companies (Yuma Ballet Academy). Monica excelled in her ballet academics but eventually ventured on to other styles of dance 6 years later. By her freshman year at Kofa High School, Ramirez trained daily in genres such as, jazz, modern, lyrical and hip hop. By the time she was 16, Monica began her official teaching career as a part time dance instructor at various studios within her community.

Exactly one week after she graduated, Monica moved to Los Angeles with a part time job at The Disneyland Resort where she performed four to five times a week in parades. During this time, Monica also began instructing hip hop classes in Agoura Hills at Retters Academy of Dance. In the two years that followed, Monica took classes and trained at the famous Millennium Dance Complex as well as Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio in North Hollywood and awaited an agency audition. In 2009, after auditioning for Clear Talent Group, Monica received a phone call that changed her life forever.

Within the same week of signing to CTG, she attended and booked her first professional dance audition (Ester Dean Ft. - “Drop It Low”). Since then, Monica Ramirez has worked with some of the world’s most renowned choreographers (Fatima Robinson. Laurianne Gibson. Tina Landon. Brian Freidman....) and artist alike (Chris Brown. Pitbull. Ke$ha. . . Flo Rida. . NeYo. and more.). Though she’s been featured as a dancer in countless television shows such as , Americas Got Talent, The XFactor, So You Think You Can Dance, The and The Grammys, to name a few, Monica also took to acting and landed her first lead role on the Hulu Original Series “East Los High” as “Yvonne” in 2014.

In 2015, Monica signed to Bloc LA, and is represented by them today. She toured the world from 2015-2017 with and accumulated many more credits along the way. She trained at “Scott Sedita Acting Studios” and has undergone vocal training with celebrity vocal coach, Nick Cooper.
