NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (CLAXTON) (EMERGENCY NOTICE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2020 Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)
In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to BT works to restore customers service the use by vehicles of the C202 The Street from its junction with C381 Ferry Road for a distance of 300 metres north west in the PARISH OF CLAXTON will be temporarily prohibited from 24th November 2020 to 26th November 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 3 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.
Alternative route is via: Ferry Road, Norwich Road, Langley Green,Staithe Road, Langley Road, Rectory Lane, Norwich Road, A146 Norwich Road, A14 Loddon Road, A146 Hellington Corner/ Loddon Road, Kirby Road, The Street, Rockland Road, Bramerton Lane, Rookery Hill, New Inn Hill, Lower Road, Claxton Corner (Ashby St. Mary/ Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley/ Kirby Bedon/ Rockland St. Mary/ Yelverton/ Langley with Hardley/ Chedgrave/ Framingham Pigot/ Carleton St. Peter/ Claxton/ Holverston/ Hellington/ Trowse with Newton/ Thurton/ Bergh Apton/ Bramerton).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
