Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advanced Research (SVICCAR) (A unit of Alamelu Charitable Foundation), Sy.No.588/A, Tirupati, Alipiri - Cherlopalli Road, Tirupati, Chittoor District has applied for CFE of the Board to operate 79 Bedded Hospital. The EE, RO, Tirupati forwarded the verification report of CFE application vide lr.dt.21.09.2019 to ZO, Kurnool. The details of the proposed hospital as per the verification report of RO dt.21.09.2019 is as follows: 1 Applied through OCMMS 2 Line of activity Hospital 3 Project cost Rs.142.5 Crores 4 Date of receipt of application 16.09.2019 5 Date of inspection 19.09.2019 6 Date of receipt of application .09.2019 at ZO 7 CFE fee The HCE has paid CFE Fee of amount Rs. 3,00,000/- through APOCMMS online receipt No. 771493479, Dt. 13.09.2019 under Red Catergory. Howerver, the categrory of the Industry is categorized under Orange – Haz category as per new CPCB categorization 8 Area details i) Total area : 107076 Sqm / 25.0 Ac ii) Built up area : 13917.93 Sqm iii) Greenbelt : The proponent has proposed to develop green belt along the proposed compound wall. iv) Nearest human : The site is located in the alipiri habitation – Cherlopalle bypass road. However, Lingeswara Nagar is located at a distance of 900 mtrs from the proposed Hospital construction site. v) Nearest water : No water body exists within body 500 mtrs radius.

After treating in STP the treated water is proposed to use for flushing purpose and for green belt development. Inspection Officer’s Remarks: a. M/s. Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advanced Research (SVICCAR) (A unit of Alamelu Charitable Foundation) proposed to construct 79 bedded Hospital Building at Sy.No.588/A, Tirupati, Alipiri - Cherlopalli Road, Tirupati, Chittoor District with a project cost of Rs 142.50 Crores and acquired an area of 107076 Sq.m or 25 Acres on lease basis from Tirupati Devasthanms for a period of 33 years. b. They proposed to construct Hospital with all facilities like Operation Theaters, Linear Accelarator-2 Nos, PET scan, CT MRI, Guest Corridor, Conventional power, Lifts-6 Nos, AC plant, Pumps & Cooling Towers for HVAC system, Kitchen equipment, Fire Pumps, Jolly Pump, AHU/Ventilation etc. c. The proposed Hospital construction project has paid an amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- through APOCMMS online receipt No. 771493479, Dt. 13.09.2019 under Red Category on the investment of Rs.142.50 Crores. However, the category of the Industry is categorized under Orange – Haz category as per new CPCB categorization. an excess amount of Rs.1,50,000-/ is available with the Board. d. Regarding water pollution HCE is proposed to generate domestic wastewater from different sections. The HCE proposed to construct STP of capacity 100 KLD for treating the domestic effluents and after treating in STP the treated water is proposed to use for flushing purpose and for green belt development. e. Regarding Air pollution the HCE has not proposed any boiler except DG sets of capacity 1 x 750 KVA & 1x 1000 KVA as stand by to the APSPDCL power supply and proposed to provide acoustic enclosures to the DG sets. 19. Recommendations of the RO: Issuance of CFE to this HCE may be considered. 20. ZO’s Remarks: The verification report of EE, RO, Tirupati may be reviewed. The issue is placed before the CFE Committee for review and recommendations.
