APOCRYPHA - Area 54 (LIM.1000 CD*US POWER / 1990) - 15 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew Rerelease – US Power / Thrash Metal Classic For Fans of , Reverend, Cacophony, , Judas Priest Out-of-print for years but forever deserving of appreciation - Freshly remastered by Jamie King Audio, the CD— limited to just 1,000 copies—will come housed alongside an all-new 16-page booklet featuring band-supplied photos and tour memories; plus an interview with both Fredianelli and Schiller, looking back on the Area 54 era. With new rhythm section Breck Smith (bass) and Dave Schiller (drums) having been enlisted to tour in support of 1988's The Eyes of Time, Las Vegas outfit APOCRYPHA—completed by guitarists Tony Fredianelli and Chip Chrovian with vocalist Steve Plocica—eventually regrouped to work on what would become the quintet's final album for : Area 54. Helmed by Fredianelli alongside co-producers and Steve Fontano at Prairie Sun Recording Studios, Area 54 is arguably APOCRYPHA's finest outing—taking the band's foundation of technical and into a noticeably darker and more thrash-centric direction. Similarly, the artwork and lyrics were inspired by ominous socio-political topics, well-suited against the album's intensified musical landscape.

AVATAR - City beneath the surface – The Anthology (NEW*LIM.300*PRE-) - 17 Loudworks 2021 – Brandnew Limited edition of 300 copies only - Factory silver pressed CD Tracks 1 – 3 from City beneath the surface 7”, Par 1983 Tracks 4 – 18 Demos recorded between 1981 and 1982

BLUDGEON - Vlad The Impaler (NEW*US METAL 1984*I.MAIDEN*ANTRRAX*WARRIOR) - 14 Stormspell Records 2021 – Brandnew Pilot release from the new collector's series aptly titled BEYOND THE ARCANE, dedicated as you can guess to unearthing and giving a second chance to obscure and forgotten demos and albums from the deepest bowels of the 80's underground scene. There couldn't have been a better choice to start the series than BLUDGEON from Wisconsin. Little is known about this obscure combo (soon to be remedied from the band story published in the booklet) and mot much is available on the world wide web either. We gathered everything they have ever recorded, which is a 7-track demo from 1984 and a live show, broadcast on WQFM local radio station (again from 1984). Recordings are rough and the time has not been kind to the tapes, but it is what it is - a remnant from a glorious past. A treat for all those initiated diehard fans that can see through the sonic limitations and enjoy the timeless piece of history hidden within. Recommended for fans of early (Paul DiAnno era), debut Anthrax album (with Neil Turbin), Armored Saint, Warrior

CANVAS SOLARIS – Chromosphere (US PROG/TECH/THRASH METAL INSTRUMENTAL) - 14 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew US Prog / TechThrash Metal Instrumental For Fans of Watchtower, Scale The Summit, Coroner, Mekong Delta, Pestilence Following the release of their fifth album, Irradiance, instrumental progressive metal songsmiths CANVAS SOLARIS quietly disbanded in 2010. The quartet regrouped in 2014 and began forming compositions that would eventually make up album #6, but various personal roadblocks stalled momentum for more than a year. Activities finally resumed in 2016, and the band completed writing six songs/50 minutes of new material: Chromosphere. However, due to a combination of logistics, personal obligations, and time constraints, the group took its time to record and mix the tracks at various studios over the course of the three years that followed. Drums were laid down with Jamie King Audio in April of 2017, while guitars and bass were tracked at Chris Rushing's and Gael Pirlot's home studios throughout 2018 and 2019. Additional percussion and acoustic guitars were recorded with the help of friend Justin Prevatt in 2019, and programming/synthesizers were largely completed at guitarist Nathan Sapp's house. CANVAS SOLARIS then returned to the patient and generous Jamie King Audio in the summer of 2019 to commence the mixing process. Speaking to Chromosphere's direction, drummer Hunter Ginn states, "When we started down the path of making a new album, Nathan and I knew that we wanted to apply more focus to the songwriting, so we turned to inspiration from late-'80s/early-'90s progressive and technical thrash bands like , Realm, Watchtower, Mekong Delta, Target, Coroner, Deathrow, Anacrusis, Believer, Obliveon, and to provide us with a deep reservoir of ideas. Chromosphere doesn't exactly come across as sounding like those bands, but I would like to think that at least CANVAS SOLARIS shares with them some DNA." As the group's four-album run with the highly respected and prog-minded Sensory record label had come to an amicable conclusion, CANVAS SOLARIS entertained the idea of self-releasing Chromosphere, but ultimately decided otherwise. It was at that point that the band full-circled back to where it all began—as Divebomb's parent label, Tribunal Records, handled the group's initial releases in the early-2000s. Ginn reflects, "In the years between our debut full-length, Sublimation, and Chromosphere, Tribunal had launched Divebomb Records, and it only gilded the lily that Divebomb had reissued some of our favorite albums. It really does feel like a homecoming for us. Tribunal Records founder Matt Rudzinski was one of our very earliest supporters, and believed in our music when hardly anyone else did. We're very grateful for the opportunity to work with him again." With Chromosphere, CANVAS SOLARIS has very much succeeded in delivering intricate, high-level progressive metal boasting a finely crafted approach to songwriting that emphasizes movement and atmosphere over endless displays of technical musicianship. Hunter closes with, "I don't think this is the record that anyone expected us to make. After a 10-year absence, most listeners probably would have bet on a mellower, more cosmic CANVAS SOLARIS album. While Chromosphere has no shortage of cosmic moments, we have never made a more aggressive, determined-sounding album..."

COMBAT FAITH – In your face (LIM.300 CD*US WHITE METAL*RECON*CROSS*A.FORCE) - 15 Roxx Records 2021 - Brandnew release of In Your Face by New Mexico heavy metal band Combat Faith – US White Metal Killer from 1989 / 1991 - great Vocals opt to high pitched For Fans of Cross, Helstar, Angelic Force, Recon, Zions Abyss LIMITED EDITION CD * Jewel Case Edition * 12 page booklet with liner notes and lyrics * Limited Edition pressing of 300 only New Mexico is a state known more for salsa music and green chili than for heavy metal. However, New Mexico had a thriving heavy metal scene in the 1980s and into the 1990s. More specifically, there were many Christian metal bands that came out of the scene including Cross (heavy metal), Rapture (heavy metal), Conviction (hard rock), Angelic Force (heavy metal), The Moshketeers (thrash), Extraction (death/thrash), Ultimatum (thrash) and Combat Faith. Formed in 1986, Combat Faith was formed by guitarist Ric Buteau and vocalist Albert Baca with drummer Alan Tuma joining the ranks shortly after. Combat Faith formed with a passion to play heavy metal and to share their faith. The band played locally as much as they could including opening for national acts like Whitecross, Vengeance Rising, X-Sinner, The Crucified and many others. In 1989, the band recorded their first demo and continued to fill halls around New Mexico with their powerhouse sound. The band finally began recording their first full length, 10-track album in 1989 which was never officially released. Only 4 tracks were released on cassette tape to shop to labels. Unfortunately, over the decades some of those recordings were lost, but six tracks from those sessions were retrieved for this CD. Roxx Records has also added the 1989 4-track demo to this CD to make a 10-track album titled In Your Face. The album is also released as a tribute to founder Ric Buteau who went home to the Lord in 2016.

DBC - Dead Brains Cells (NEW*LIM.1000*CAN TECH/THRASH METAL / CROSSOVER ’87) - 15 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew CAN Tech - Thrash Metal / Crossover Classic 1987 – lim. 1000 copies FOR FANS OF: VOI-VOD, CORONER, OBLIVEON, DYOXEN, SACRIFICE & CYNIC (EARLY) Montréal, Québec's should require no introduction. These legendary Canadrian thrashers date back to 1986, at which time they established a core lineup of Phil Dakin (bass/vocals), Eddie Shahini and Gerry Ouellette (guitars), and Jeff St-Louis (drums). After recording a seven-song demo at Harmonie Studio, the quartet landed a coveted slot opening for and Razor at the Montréal Paladium before securing a recording contract with iconic label —all within a mere nine months of existence! The results were the socio- political/crossover tech-thrash of classic debut Dead Brain Cells (1987) and the increasingly complex, sci-fi-themed creativity of Universe (1989)—albums that are still lauded by fans to this day. Touring and additional recording continued throughout 1990/1991, as DBC worked toward a third album. Unfortunately, Combat Records failed to recognize the obvious potential in the band's new material and parted ways with the group. DEAD BRAIN CELLS carried on with writing and rehearsals in order to achieve a new record deal, but in part due to the changing landscape of the music industry, such an opportunity never took shape. The band eventually drew to a close when guitarist Gerry Ouellette passed away in 1994. The remaining members would reunite during the early-2000s, and began to reissue and digitally distribute their material—Shahini and Dakin eventually remaining semi-active with new members, playing a number of sporadic shows over the years. Now, a stunning 30 years after the band's last date in a studio, Divebomb Records is honored to produce a series of three reissues covering DBC's complete discography—beginning with 1987 full-length debut, Dead Brain Cells. Fully remastered by Jamie King Audio, the disc comes packaged alongside a 24-page booklet packed with photos, flyers, lyrics, press clippings, and a retrospective interview with the band. Each jewel case will be housed within a special foil-stamped O-card, numbered out of a limited edition of 1,000 copies

DIRTY LOOKS – Bootlegs (LIM.1000*US HARD ROCK CLASSIC 1991*SHRAPNEL) - 15 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew Rerelease – US Hard Rock Classic 1991 For Fans of Rhino Bucket, AC/DC, Kix, Rose Tattoo Divebomb Records is now excited to put forth this officially licensed reissue of Bootlegs—back on CD for the first time in a whopping 30 years! Fully remastered by Jamie King Audio, this reissue—limited to just 1,000 copies—will also include an augmented layout with retouched photography. After releasing a pair of excellent, Billboard-charting hard rock albums for major label Atlantic Records—Cool From the Wire (1988) and Turn of the Screw (1989)—DIRTY LOOKS licensed the nine-song Bootlegs release to Shrapnel Records in 1991. Consisting of material written throughout the band's peak stage, some of these compositions were purported to have been inexplicably rejected by Atlantic during the band's stint with the label, despite obvious strengths abound. Tracked at Acme Recording Studios outside of New York City and Dodge City Sound in Los Angeles, the tunes were laid down in large part by that era's core lineup of Henrik Ostergaard (vocals/guitar), Paul Lidel (guitar), Jack Pyers (bass), and Gene Barnett (drums). Cary Devore—who would later join Ostergaard in Rumbledog—also performed drums on a handful of recordings. Bootlegs presents a diverse range of the high-quality hard rock for which DIRTY LOOKS was known; from the straightforward thrusts of "Speed Queen" and "Fool for You," to the darker atmosphere of "Dude, Where's the Money," the bluesy edge of "Loveless" and "Only Tomorrow," and lone power ballad "The Last Forever."

HOUR OF 13 - Black Magick Rites (NEW*JEWEL CASE CD*US DOOM METAL) - 14 Shadow Kingdom Records 2021 – Brandnew US Epic/Doom/Occult Metal Jewel Case CD For Fans of Black Sabbath, Pagan Altar, Christan Death, Voodoo Church and Witchfinder General By now, HOUR OF 13 should require little introduction. For the better part of two decades, mainman Chad Davis has pursued a unique and intensely personal iteration of traditional doom metal. Along the way and over the course of three albums and numerous EPs, HOUR OF 13 have built a formidable discography that's amassed a fanatic following awaiting each spooky 'n' somber offering Davis and his rotating cast of cohorts creates. And while he's released records for a variety of labels over the years, in between a couple breakups, Davis brings HOUR OF 13 back to SHADOW KINGDOM, who released the band's self-titled debut album in 2007 long before the hype started. HOUR OF 13's first full-length offering in over eight years, Black Magick Rites - Just as uniquely, Black Magick Rites also marks the first HOUR OF 13 album where he handles not only all instruments, but also all vocals. Indeed, Davis' vocals evoke an ancient nostalgia, of doom metal before it was "doom metal" - of the days when bands like Black Sabbath, Pagan Altar, and Witchfinder General simply followed their respective muses wherever it took them. And for Davis, Black Magick Rites sees him taking his HOUR OF 13 muse toward a rougher, more rock 'n' roll expression and yet tinged with an emotive melancholy that resonates deeply within the soul. No, no flavor-of-the- week "occult rock" cliches here, for Davis still prizes blue-collared authenticity in his doom, but he likewise never lets it hamper his immediately recognizable songwriting, which here ever so subtly inches closer to classic deathrock territory (think the likes of early Christan Death and Voodoo Church). Naturally, with a title like Black Magick Rites, an indulgence in occultism is expected, and you can literally feel the fingers of the black beyond reaching out to you across every electric minute of this 44-minute monolith. Despite those isolated breakups, HOUR OF 13 continue to get better with age. Perfectly titled as any record in their enviable discography, Black Magick Rites is the sweet sound of salvation...through damnation.

HOWE II - High Gear (LIM.1000*US MELODIC METAL CLASSIC 1989*SHRAPNEL) - 15 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew Rerelease – US Hard Rock Classic / Melodic Metal from 1989 For Fans of Van Halen, Bullet Boys, Ratt, Extreme, White Lion, Greg HoweK7 Out-of-print for years and long overdue for another chance to be heard, Divebomb Records is thrilled to present this licensed reissue of High Gear. Freshly remastered by Jamie King Audio, the CD—limited to just 1,000 copies— will come housed alongside an all-new 16-page booklet featuring: lyrics, plus a HOWE II-centric interview with himself, conducted toward the end of 2020. For the fans, by the fans! When groundbreaking guitarist Greg Howe inked a deal with Shrapnel Records during the late-'80s, the terms included two full-band vocal albums by the group Greg had been working on with his brother, vocalist Al Howe, for years prior. Formerly known as Duke, the band was fittingly rechristened HOWE II once joining the Shrapnel roster, rounding out its lineup with bassist Vern Parsons and drummer Joe Nevolo before issuing stunning debut full-length, High Gear, just one year later in 1989. Featuring 10 tracks of high-octane, metal-infused hard rock—imagine Van Halen on nitrous oxide—High Gear may have boasted scorching guitar work at its core, but there was no lack of emphasis on well-honed songwriting. Extraordinary musicianship was seamlessly maneuvered into a framework of memorable compositions packed with power and emotion—as heard in the exuberant title track, the mid-paced pulse of "Thinking of You," or the bluesy bounce of "Social Fever," to cite but a few.

The CD will feature an expanded booklet and an exclusive bonus track - the CD is a jewel case edition with 8 page booklet limited to a 300 piece pressing. For Fans of Vektor, Believer or Death ! Founded in the summer of 2007, Madrost is a progressive death thrash act focused on precision songwriting and an energetic diverse approach to their sound. Influenced by the likes of Metal Church, Death, ELP, Believer, Coroner, Mekong Delta and Iron Maiden, the band has transformed from a straight-forward thrash/death style to incorporating a wide range of other instruments and time signatures into their own unique sound and style. Madrost signed with NoLifeTilMetal Records in 2020 to release their fourth album, the progressive thrash masterpiece "Charring The Rotting Earth." “Maleficent” was initially released in 2012 as an independent CD-R release and has been out of print and out of circulation for years. Unlike the bands more recent releases, "Maleficent" is a more straight-forward thrash/ album. The album featured furious riffs, blistering speed, shredding guitar solos and vicious, biting vocals. Both the vinyl and CD re-issues will be remastered by Rob Colwell (Bombworks Sound).

PROJECT: ROENWOLFE - Edge Of Saturn (LIM.ED.*US POWER/THRASH METAL*JUDICATOR) - 15 Divebomb Records 2021 – Brandnew 2nd Album – US Power / Thrash Metal For Fans of: Iced Earth, Helstar, Judicator, Control Denied, Artillery, Heathen, and Jag Panzer Divebomb Records couldn't agree more, and is thrilled to once again partner with PROJECT: ROENWOLFE for the 2021 release of Edge of Saturn. The album's markedly improved production and laser-focused songwriting boasts a level of quality and professionalism that raises PROJECT: ROENWOLFE toward the plane of the very luminaries that have inspired them—sure to stun former fans and newcomers alike! Toward the end of summer 2013, PROJECT: ROENWOLFE issued their promising debut full-length, Neverwhere Dreamscape, through Divebomb Records. Unfortunately, life, distance, and various other creative priorities forced the group into an extended hiatus. But now, an all-too-long seven years down the line, PROJECT: ROENWOLFE is back and better than ever, announcing the forthcoming release of long-overdue sophomore outing, Edge of Saturn. Edge of Saturn finds PROJECT: ROENWOLFE co-founders Patrick Parris (vocals) and Tony Cordisco (guitar, bass) joined by drummer Ernie Topran (Theocracy, ex-Halcyon Way) to strengthen the manifestation of their vision for crunchy-yet-melodic thrash metal with epically soaring vocals—perfectly suited for fans of Nevermore, Forbidden, Control Denied and Artillery. The nine-song, 50-minute affair is a skillfully diverse effort that never favors variety or complexity over the sheer power of memorable, high-energy songwriting. Lyrically, the album explores both the personal and the political, often through the creative lens of science fiction—be the concepts originally penned or inspired by literary legends such as Lovecraft, Shelley, Simmons, and Sapkowski. The title track, in fact, is a direct continuation of Neverwhere Dreamscape's "Split the Rings of Saturn" storyline, with the intention of expanding the saga across future recordings. States Parris, "I feel that we did right by the creative process of this album. The amount of experience we were able to gain in the last eight years surely lends itself to our creative process as we return our focus to PROJECT: ROENWOLFE, and it's honestly the most fun I've ever had creating something—the best music I've ever had the privilege of working on. I'm incredibly excited and proud to show people what we've done here." Cordisco adds, "Edge of Saturn went through several iterations, but we took our time and made sure to make it the best combination of influences we could. We really wanted it to be the culmination of all we've learned in our musical journeys. As I prepared to leave Judicator—which had been my main band for nearly a decade—the album's production ramped up and our partnership set a new course entirely. We are so beyond happy about this album, and can't wait to unleash this slab of power-thrashing metal and deliver on a promise we made at the forming of this band almost 10 years ago."

RAZOR - Escape the Fire (LIM.SLIPCASE CD*CAN THRASH / SPEED METAL CLASSIC ’84) - 14 High Roller Records 2021 – Brandnew limited Slipcase Edition – CAN Thrash Metal Classic for the first time officially released! Mastered and restored by Patrick W. Engel at TEMPLE OF DISHARMONY in July 2020. After Canadian thrash metal legends Razor had released their self-financed debut EP »Armed And Dangerous« in 1984, they were surprised to get the attention of Attic Records, the country’s leading major record company at the time. The band soon inked a deal with the label and was destined to spearhead the company’s new Viper Records division. »Escape The Fire« was originally planned to be the follow-up to »Armed And Dangerous« but in the end it did not work out like this. Attic put pressure on the young band and had their own ideas of shaping the future of Razor. The result was »Executioner’s Song«. Original bassist Mike Campagnolo tells the whole story: “Let’s face it, when any young band is given a shot at a record deal, it usually leans heavily in the label’s favour. Sure, we were inexperienced but they were also treading in unknown waters with the new Viper division, so there was a bit of lost advantage all around. I think we learned a bit from each other but hey, it’s usually the person with the cash making the final decisions. The main problem was that they were trying to cash in on anything we released instead of promoting a newer direction as the metal scene began to get harder and faster. They really didn’t grasp how the scene was changing and progressing and didn’t really get ahead of that wave. They had a pattern of how to deal with artists and stuck to that formula instead of seeing that this genre was here to stay and not just a fad. Attic showed that strategy with »Executioner’s Song« when they wanted some songs off of »Armed And Dangerous« and the »Escape The Fire« demo to create that release.”

In February of 2018, Silver Talon released their first demo track “Devil Machine.” The track offered a small sample of Silver Talon’s ability to masterfully blend hook, melody, and technical ability into fist clenching, head-bangable heavy metal. Their second demo release, “Warrior’s End,” showcases more of Silver Talon’s dexterity in riffs, bent time signatures, and lush melodies. The Debut “Becoming a Demon” was released 2019 on Alone Records / Vinyl + CD as US private Press.

WARDRUM – Mavericks (NEW*GRE PROG/POWER METAL*RIOT*SYMPHONY X*C.GLORY) - 14 Steel Gallery Records 2021 – Brandnew - Thessaloniki’s, Hellas Lyrical Power/Prog Metalers strike back! After 5 years, they are back with one of the best albums of 2021! Wardrum music has been described as a cross between Heavy Metal and Prog Power, influenced by among others, Riot, , and Symphony X. Wardrum is here delivering 11 outstanding Epic, Heavy, Power, Melodic, Technical Metal songs. Amazing songwriting, fantastic vocals, heavy riffing, brilliant lead guitar parts and progressive drumming are the key features of this top album. Founded in 2010 in Thessaloniki Greece, Wardrum play their own style of Metal music, by taking the direction they believe Heavy music should have taken, after its golden era. Having also a slightly epic Greek melodic touch, their music has been described as “Greek composer Chatzidakis meets Judas Priest”! Wardrum have been determined, not only to work hard and keep doing what they love; but with their music and lyrics, to hopefully become a positive influence in the lives of those who want to become better versions of themselves. They are most well-known for up-tempo songs like “Travel Far Away”, “The Messenger” and “After Forever”, mid- tempo melodic choruses like “Lady Jane Grey” and “Parental”, as well as for more gloomy ones like “Sometimes” and “Skies Of Grey”.

ETERNAL RYTE – World Requiem (LIM.100 BLACK V.*US WHITE METAL ‘90*SACRED WARRIOR) - 44 Roxx Records 2021 – Brandew US White Metal Classic – LIM.100 BLACK VINYL – 180 gr + Insert - Remastered ! For Fans of Sacred Warrior, Holy Soldier, Recon, Queensryche, Dokken ‘World Requiem’ is being released on vinyl for the very first time ever! And it is being released as a part of the Roxx 100 Series where we focus on obscure indies and release them exclusively in a 100 piece format. Yes only 100 pieces of this will be pressed on a beautiful black 180g vinyl. In our usual pattern we used the now legendary duo of Rob Colwell (Bombworks Sound) and Scott Waters (No Life TIl Metal Graphics) to remaster and design this one in to a beautiful collectors piece. Flash back to the late 80’s and early 90’s in Southern California where the Christian Metal and glam scene were going strong! This classic Christian metal band was out there doing there thing and should have made it much bigger than they did. This time Roxx gives the special remaster treatment to the one and only, Eternal Ryte as we bring you the bands debut, and only full length release, ‘World Requiem’ ‘World Requiem’ was originally released in 1990 and was produced by legendary producer Cesar Kalinowski and it was an instant classic to the Christian Metal community. Alas the band would never release a sophomore release and would head off into Christian Metal obscurity after this amazing debut, and we are bringing it back to life for a new generation.

HOUR OF 13 - Black Magick Rites (PRE_ORDER*LIM.700 SMOKE V.*US DOOM METAL) - 22 Shadow Kingdom Records 2021 – Brandnew US Epic/Doom/Occult Metal – Pre-Order: 27/08/2021 Limited to 700 Black Magick Smoke Vinyl + Insert By now, HOUR OF 13 should require little introduction.

This vinyl will also be limited to only 100 copies on 180g black vinyl + Insert ! Unlike the bands more recent releases, "Maleficent" is a more straight-forward thrash/death metal album. The album featured furious riffs, blistering speed, shredding guitar solos and vicious, biting vocals. Both the vinyl and CD re-issues will be remastered by Rob Colwell (Bombworks Sound).
