4. Access to the IOC Library

The IOC Library offers the general public, academics, the Olympic family and the IOC administration access to the official publications of the Olympic Movement, as well as a large collection of books, journals, CD-ROMs and DVDs on the Olympic and sports world.

The references cited may be consulted at or borrowed from our Library.

However, if you wish to acquire any of these titles, we suggest that you contact a bookshop directly.

What are the conditions for borrowing documents from the library? - Resident in Switzerland and proof of identity - Up to ten documents loaned for one month

Inter-library loans: If you are in another location and wish to borrow a document from our library, you need to: - be registered with a library in your region or country. - This library will send us the request, and we will send it the documents by post.

Opening times: Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Closed on: Mondays from November to the end of March. The Library is also closed during the official holidays, the 1st May, Friday after Ascension Day, between Christmas and New Year, and also during the second week of January for an inventory to be taken.
