The Lord manifested Himself to us through the ministration of his word, and by various revelations led us in our deliberations. Below are some of the decisions that were taken during the meetings: Elections Apostles Yaw Adjei-Kwarteng, Samuel Osei Asante and Isaac Nii Kotei Djani have been re-elected members of the Executive Council for another term. Additionally, Apostles Sylvester Arhin, Dr. Dela Quampah, Mike Etrue and James Raj Sundaram have been elected members of the Executive Council. Our sincerest appreciation goes to the outgoing Executive Council members, Apostle Joseph K. Assabil, Apostle David Tettey Tekper, Apostle Mark Obeng Andoh and Apostle Dr Emmanuel Owusu; who have diligently and selflessly served the Lord and His Church on the Council. May the God of our fathers, bless them abundantly. The charter certificate was presented by H. E. the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo at the Jubilee House on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Vice-Chancellor Pastor Professor Kwabena Agyapong-Koduah (UK) has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Pentecost University. He replaces Aps Dr Daniel Okyere Walker who has served for four (4) years. Creation of Areas Two (2) areas, Offinso and Twifo Praso will be created in October 2020. Creation of Districts Seventy-one (71) districts will be created in October 2020. See appendix 1. Call to the Full-Time Ministry Eighty-eight (88) brothers, including Alfred Akruga, who was cleared later have been called into the full-time ministry. See appendix 2. 2 Upgrading to Full Overseership One hundred and sixteen (116) probationary overseers have been upgraded into full Overseership. See appendix 3. Call to the Pastorate Prof William Otoo Ellis (Asokwa) has been called to the pastorate. Ninety-five (95) overseers were called to the pastorate. See appendix 4. Call into Tent Ministry Elder Stephen Agyei is called into the Tent Ministry as Pastor in charge of Qatar Elder Theophilus Daleku is called into the Tent Ministry as an overseer in charge of Kurdistan (Iraq) Retirement The under-listed ministers who have served for various number of years shall proceed on retirement by October 2020: 1. Return from Sick leave Evangelist Kossivi Alavanyo GADZE (Togo) who was granted one year sick leave last year has recuperated by God’s grace and has resumed duty. Pastor Michael Ofori (Asokwa) who was given sick leave has recuperated and has resumed duty. Sick Leave Pastor Samuel Amo Boateng has been given one-year sick leave. Pastors George Alfred Sam and Samuel Asare Konadu’s sick-leave has been extended for another year Reviews and Appointments Youth Pastors Pastors Solomon Kyei and Daniel Ofosu have been appointed Youth Pastors Home and Urban Missions (HUM) Pastors Daniel Nabaku, Gabriel Owusu Akyaw and Enoch Paa Kofi Anaman have been appointed Home and Urban Missions Pastors. Also, Brother Diallo Suleman Abubakar has been appointed field assistant to help in the ministry among the Fulanis. Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh Pastor Ben Akuetteh Noye is appointed Centre Manager for PCC. He replaces Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei who managed the Centre for six (6) years. Finance and Adminstration Director (FAD) Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko has been appointed Finance and Administration Director. He replaces Pastor Dr. Nicholas Darko who has served in that capacity for twenty (20) years. 4 Chaplain Pastor Thomas Owusu Brefo has been seconded to Ghana Prisons Service as a chaplain. Ministries Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh has been appointed PEMEM Director. He replaces Aps Emmanuel Ankra-Badu, who has served for 4 years. Pastor Clement Achim-Gyimah replaces Pastor Joseph Agbemor who has served for eight (8) years as member. Pastor Bernard Aziz M. Abogorago replaces Pastor Joseph Quaicoo, who has served for eight (8) years. The term of the other members, Pastor Philip Kwashie Ackumey, Elder Steve Djaba and Elder Nana K Gyasi has been reviewed. Women Deaconess Philomina Mireku (Koforidua) has been appointed Director. She replaces Deaconess Grace Yeboah-Asuamah who has served two terms for eight (8) years. Deaconess Vivian Amfo (Kaneshie) has been appointed Deputy Director. She replaces Deaconess Margaret Osei who served in that capacity for eight (8) years. Mrs Comfort Quampah (Odorkor), Mrs Sheila Hayfron (Madina), and Deaconesses Dr. Gladys Quartey (Takoradi), Ellen Lavoe (Aflao) and Evelyn Lang-Na Mensah (Bolgatanga) are appointed executive committee members. Youth Elder Dr. Eric Apau- Asante (Asokwa) has been appointed Deputy Director of the Youth Ministry. He replaces Elder Amos Kevin-Annan who has served for sixteen (16) years. The following have been appointed members of the Executive Committee: Pastor Ebenezer Agyapong (Teshie Nungua), Elder Joseph Selorm Tetteh (Tamale), Mrs Priscilla Yerebi (La) and Deaconess Comfort Lotse Wornaa (Ho) In view of the above, Pastor Nii Okaija Sackey, Elder Makafui Nyamedie, Mrs Gifty Dansoah Appiah and Deaconess Gina Asante have been replaced. Children Prophet David Kankam Beditor has been appointed Patron of the Children Ministry. Pastor Professor William Otoo Ellis has been appointed Director. He replaces Apostle Fred Tiakor who served for eight (8) years. Elder Lawyer Alfred Aidoo (Achimota) has been appointed Deputy Director. 5 Pastor P G Andoh, Elder K Asare-Twerefour, Mrs Rita Yedu and Mrs Victoria Abeo- Tetteh have been replaced by Pastor Ebenezer Tetteh Kpalam (Winneba), Elder Nyarko Tetteh (Haatso), Mrs Freda Koranteng (La) and Deaconess Cynthia Araba Siaw Agyepong (Teshie Nungua) as Executive Committee members. Pastor Peter Kwasi Adjei has been reviewed to serve another term as member of the committee. Evangelism The Director and all the other members have been reviewed to serve another term of four year, with the exception of the Deputy Director (Ps. Ohene -Asa Otu), who still has one more year to serve. Missions Board Elder Dr. Ebenezer Nii Ayittey Tagoe (Kaneshie) has been appointed member of the Board. He replaces the late Elder George Amponsah.
