  • Cupid Exclusive: Former ‘Bachelor Pad’ Exes Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs Offer Advice on Dating and Love
Cupid Exclusive: Former ‘Bachelor Pad’ Exes Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs Offer Advice on Dating and Love By Kari Arneson Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs are no strangers to finding love on reality television, as they both competed onThe Bachelor and The Bachelorette series respectively – Elizabeth on season 14 with Jake Pavelka and Jesse on season 5 with Jillian Harris. The two seemed to find love as they cozied up with one another during last summer’s reality hit spin-off series Bachelor Pad, but like the majority of The Bachelor franchise unions, their relationship didn’t last after the cameras stopped rolling. Oftentimes, lack of communication in a relationship can lead partners down two totally different paths: Kovacs wanted something more casual while Kitt wanted to fall in love. Nevertheless, the couple’s strong bond and competitive spirit led them into the final six, just a few steps away from winning the big pot of cash. With another season of Bachelor Pad coming this summer, we asked Elizabeth and Jesse for their insight on dating, relationships and finding love on reality TV: 1. Did being on a reality dating show change your perceptions/expectations about dating? Elizabeth: I think watching myself on the The Bachelor and The Bachelor Pad really helped point out some areas I can improve upon in terms of my approach to dating. With Jake I could tell I was very guarded, and unable to open myself up to finding love with him. On the Bachelor Pad, I was too open with falling for Jesse Kovacs.

  • Trista Sutter Explains Why ‘
Celebrity News: Trista Sutter Explains Why ‘The Bachelorette’ Has More Success Than ‘The Bachelor’ By Diana Iscenko In the latest celebrity news, Trista Sutter, the first Bachelorette, revealed why The Bachelor has less success than its female-led spin-off. On a recent episode of UsMagazine.com’s “Here For the Right Reasons” podcast, Sutter explained why “women do it better.” The reality TV star claims a season’s success is based on how well it was cast and how open the lead is to finding love on the show. Sutter also acknowledges how easy it is to “get caught up in the lust factor.” In the franchise’s history, sixBachelorettes are still with their season’s winner, while only one Bachelor is married to his season’s winner. Several Bachelors have ended up with someone from their season after proposing to someone else. In celebrity news, Trista Sutter opens up about why The Bachelorette has more success stories than The Bachelor. What are some ways to tell the difference between lust and love? Cupid’s Advice: The start of a new relationship is exciting! It’s easy to get swept up with a new partner, but are you excited for the right reasons? If you’re not sure if you’re in love or in lust, Cupid has some advice for you. 1. You enjoy talking to them: Anyone in a new relationship will want to see their partner, but talking over the phone consistently might show that there’s a deeper level of connection. If you only talk to your new partner while seeing them in person, love may be taking a backseat to lust.

The New Rainmaker: Why the Key to Business Success is Media, Not Marketing TRANSCRIPT NEWRAINMAKER.COM THE NEW RAINMAKER: WHY THE KEY TO BUSINESS SUCCESS IS MEDIA, NOT MARKETING Robert Bruce: Who is it that — whether the chips are up or down — almost every organization depends on? Who is it that — regardless of the economic climate — always seems to be able make things happen? In any endeavor, non-profit, for profit, the dentist’s office, the publishing house, the software company … almost anything you can think of … who’s the most important player? And how do you become this person? This is New Rainmaker, from newrainmaker.com, I’m Robert Bruce and today Brian Clark will answer these questions by taking us on a brief walk through his own professional story — as well as a few others that I think you’ll find … interesting. Stay tuned … Brian Clark: Without a rainmaker, you’re in trouble. This was true for the Native Americans living on sun-bleached plains. When the life-giving rivers began to dry up from lack of rain, life became hard. The plants withered, the animals weakened, and the tribe despaired. 2 THE NEW RAINMAKER: WHY THE KEY TO BUSINESS SUCCESS IS MEDIA, NOT MARKETING It’s also true for businesses trying to survive and thrive in any economy. The rainmaker is the one who brings in the clients and customers, the revenue, and the profits. It’s the rainmaker who saves their own “tribe” from the withering despair — and dire consequences — of failure. In all cultures, the rainmaker is a powerful person.
