Traffic data submitted by various domestic airlines has been analysed for the month of March 2021.
Passenger Growth
Passengers carried by domestic airlines during Jan-Mar 2021 were 233.83 lakhs as against 329.12 lakhs during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering annual growth of -28.95% and monthly growth of 0.78%( Ref Table 1). The domestic flight operations were suspended last year due to COVID-19 outbreak from 25th March 2020.
