She posted a double-double with 13 kills, 11 digs and a .407 attack in a win over Abilene Christian. She picked up a season high 19 digs in a win over Texas Woman’s. 2010 (Freshman): Soukup started the final 18 matches of her first season at UIW. She averaged 2.16 kills and 2.57 digs per set for the season. Every time she had at least 10 kills in a match she also had at least 10 digs. She pounded 15 kills, had 13 digs and posted a .333 attack in a sweep at A&M-Com- merce. 2009 (Freshman): Bonura played in 15 matches and showed signs of her potential. She posted a .205 attack and averaged 1.53 kills per set in limited duty. She pounded out 14 kills and posted a .425 attach in a five-set loss at UT-Permian Basin. She had six kills and a .455 attack in a win over East Central.

High School: Bonura starred at Houston’s Lutheran North High School. She also played softball, basketball, soccer and track and field. She was a four-time all-district performer and three-time All-State selection. As a senior, she was named the district MVP and led the team to a Final Four appearance in the state tournament.

Personal: Bonura is the daughter of Tom and Jennifer Bonura and is studying interdisciplinary studies. She has two broth- ers, Thomas and Tony, and was born on October 17, 1990. She is fluent in American Sign Language.

Past members of the LSC include Trinity, Houston, La- mar, Howard Payne, Sul Ross State, McMurry, Hard- ing, Ouachita Baptist, Central Oklahoma, East Central (Okla.), Northeastern State (Okla.), Southeastern Oklahoma and Southwestern Oklahoma.

While the LSC has maintained a long-standing tradition of competitive athletic programs for its members, many teams and individuals have gone on to distinguish themselves on the national stage. Entering 2012-13, LSC member institutions have collected 74 NCAA national championships since the league joined the Division II membership in 1982.
