The farm lies inside the Vembanad Lake.The Aqua Tourism by Matsyafed, Palaikari offers facilities for spending a day there, relaxing on hammocks, swings or benches on the bunds between shady coconut trees, meals with fish curry, fish fry and fish pickles and a cup of ice cream and pedal- boating, for only Rs.200/- The one day package starts from 10 a.m. with a welcome drink and ends at 6 p.m. with a scenic beauty of the sunset. Children below 12 years can have the same facilities for only Rs.100/-. Huts on the bunds and in the water body are apt for a private retreat. An evening visit costs only Rs.25/- from 4 p. m to 6 p. m.
