Lanes for each race are numbered UPWARDS from Lane 1, which is on the Western side of the course; Crews check you have the correct bow number before you leave the beach; Any crew which qualifies for a final & then fails to start will be severely penalised; If the Regatta is running late, it is the Liaison Officers’ responsibility to ask that time gaps be maintained; A crew which considers that its race was not properly run must make an objection to the Umpire before leaving the finish area; All crews to proceed slowly through the landing and take off areas; Crews not in the starters hands or waiting with the Marshall 2 minutes before the start time can be excluded from the race.
Scratchings & Substitutions: Scratchings & crew changes including coxswains must be notified on the official form or on-line 30 minutes before its race.
Bow Numbers: The Bow Number Station is located at the warm-up lake side of the RWA Umpire’s Bay. Clubs are to sign-out their bow numbers prior to each race & sign them in IMMEDIATELY after the race. Clubs will be charged for the replacement of any bow numbers either damaged, or not returned after the race.
