Included in this would be: Hugging, kissing, holding hands, or any contact with pleasurable intent.

What makes a woman a Niddah?

Three requirements from the Torah 1. Blood 2. From the Uterus (sensation) הרגשה With .3

 If it is some other liquid,  or if it didn’t come from the Uterus,  or it came without a woman feeling it,

.מדאורייתא would not render her a Niddah

(sensation) הרגשה Rabonon – even without The Rabonon decreed that any blood that comes from the uterus, even without sensation makes a woman a Niddah.

Page 2 Hilchos Niddah Session #3 This refers to any amount of blood no matter how minute. Any amount of blood no matter how minute, (if it came from a woman’s uterus and she felt it coming out) would render her a Niddah.

Woman is a Niddah until she goes to the Mikvah Once a woman becomes a Niddah she doesn’t leave that state until she properly immerses herself in a Kosher Mikvah.

Even if a woman is very old and no longer menstruates, if she had once been a Niddah and hasn’t gone to the Mikvah, she remains in her Niddah status.

All young women from the age of Bas Mitzvah are in a status of being a Niddah.

If a woman felt liquid flow within her body, even though she didn’t feel any of the other sensations, if blood was found connected to that sensation, she would be a Niddah.

Within the Vaginal tract The sensation that is being referred to here is inside her body (Anywhere within the vaginal tract). If she only felt it on her legs or outside her body, this wouldn’t constitute a sensation (and would not .(מדאורייתא render her a Niddah .(Rabbinicaly) מדרבנן She would however be a Niddah most common זיבת דבר לח Most women do not feel the first two types of sensations.
