Golden Gate Warriors Head Coach Speaks at University of ’s Silk Speaker Series on October 23

SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 17, 2018) – Silk Speaker Series - The University of San Francisco (USF), a diverse, Jesuit learning community, presents head coach Steve Kerr for a talk moderated by former head coach of the USF women’s basketball team and Director of Special Initiatives Jennifer Azzi and Dan Rascher, professor and director of the Sport Management program. Kerr carries 30 years of NBA experience as a player, coach, television analyst and front office executive. Currently entering his fifth season as head coach, Kerr has guided the Golden State Warriors through four of the most prolific seasons in NBA history. Given his broad and deep knowledge of the business of sports and his unique perspective on where sports sits in our culture, Kerr will educate attendees on important leadership qualities that reach beyond the basketball court.
