PSA Title: Fjords, Glaciers, and Mountains …exploring & Juneau, Number of Passengers: Min. 4/ Max. 6

Starting Date: September 15th, please plan to arrive before 3pm to Juneau International Airport (JNU). Ending Date: September 18th, 11:00am, all participants will be transferred back to the airport for their flight to Anchorage (ANC). Difficulty: 2 Discounted Cost per person: $400.00 What’s included: Meals and activities as noted in the itinerary, airfare from Juneau to Anchorage on 9/18, all applicable taxes and high fives. What’s not included: Alcoholic beverages (except where noted), travel insurance, baggage fees, tips, incidentals, and attitude of any kind J. Terms of Payment & Cancellations: Payments via Check or Credit Card will be due by August 1st. Cancellations allowed up until 8/15 for a full refund. After 8/15, this PSA is non-refundable.

Itinerary:

9/15 Day of Arrival, you will be met, greeted and transferred to your host hotel (For those that arrive early, we can arrange time at the ).

9/15 5:00 pm Welcome Dinner/Meet & Greet at Tracy’s Crab Shack - You’ll be wined, dined and welcomed to Juneau at the famous Tracy’s Crab Shack. King crab legs, snow crab, Dungeness crab plus as assortment of sides and locally-brewed beers all included.

9/16 Breakfast at host hotel. We’ll depart hotel by foot for the Goldbelt Mt. Roberts Tram. The tram will whisk us up 1800 vertical ft. where we will meet our naturalist and guide for a hike on the mountain. After our hike, participants can explore the Native Art collection, as well see a totem pole being carved on-site. We will ride the tram back down the mountain and head to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we’ll meet our guide and head “out-the-road” to Eagle Beach for a short, easy hike and spend the afternoon painting. With the help of a professional artist guide, you get to experience the great outdoors and paint a scene from your experience. We’ll round out the day with a traditional salmon bake.

9/17 – Breakfast at host hotel. We’ll set sail first thing on a private charter to Tracy Arm. Under the expert guide of Moore Charters, we’ll spend the full day on the water. Tracy Arm is an active glacier area … we’ll see the twin Sawyer Glaciers, calving, wildlife, icebergs, amazing waterfalls and just take in the spectacular sites of Southeast along the way. Once we are back in town, we’ll have a farewell dinner at a local joint and call it a night.

9/18 – Breakfast at host hotel. Morning on own to explore downtown. Late morning transfer to Juneau International Airport for the flight to Anchorage.
