Earth-11 Jumpchain Yes, This Is Just for Waifus
Earth-11 Jumpchain Yes, this is just for waifus This is a world of superhumans and aliens, one that may seem very familiar at first. However, this isn’t the normal world of DC Comics. No, this is one of its parallel dimensions, one where everybody is an opposite-gender reflection of their mainline counterparts. It’s largely the same besides that one difference, so the events that happened in the primary universe are likely to have happened here as well. The battle between good and evil continues on as it always does, on Earth, in space, and in other dimensions. Superwoman, Batwoman, Wonder Man, and the rest of the Justice League fight to protect the Earth from both from it’s own internal crime and corruption and from extraterrestrial threats. The Guardians of the Universe head the Green Lantern Corps to police the 3800 sectors of outer space, of which Kylie Rayner is one of the premier members. On New Genesis and Apokolips in the Fourth World, Highmother and Darkseid, the Black Queen vie for power, never quite breaking from their ancient stalemate. You receive 1000 CP to make your place in this world. You can purchase special abilities, equipment, superpowers, and friends to help you out on your adventures. Continuity You can start at any date within your chosen continuity. Golden Age The original timeline, beginning in 1938 with the first adventure of Superwoman. Before long she was joined by Batwoman, Wonder Man, and the Justice Society of America. The JSA is the primary superhero team of this Earth, comprised of the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkwoman, Dr. -

Superman / Batman: Vengeance Free Ebook
FREESUPERMAN / BATMAN: VENGEANCE EBOOK Ed McGuinness,Dexter Vines,Jeph Loeb | 160 pages | 09 Dec 2008 | DC Comics | 9781401210434 | English | United States Superman/Batman, Vol. 4: Vengeance by Jeph Loeb Superman / Batman: Vengeance Loebthe series' first writer, introduced a dual- narrator technique to present the characters' often opposing viewpoints and estimations of each other, which subsequent series writers have maintained. Before the limited series Crisis on Infinite Earthsthe two iconic characters were depicted as the best of friends. After the first 13 issues, most of the story arcs were independent and self-contained from the ongoing or Superman / Batman: Vengeance storylines in the other Batman and Superman comic titles. Twenty-six writers and artists who knew Sam worked on the issue, donating their fees and royalties for the issue to the Sam Loeb College Scholarship Fund. LoebSuperman / Batman: Vengeance wrote Superman for two years before the launch of the title, wrote the book for the first two years of its publication. Unlike later writers, Loeb's work on the book lasted for several storylines, which were interconnected. President Lex Luthor declares Superman and Batman enemies of the state, claiming that a Kryptonite asteroid headed for Earth is connected to an evil Superman / Batman: Vengeance by Superman. Superman almost kills Lex, with Batman standing aside. Superman changes his mind at the last moment. The new Superman / Batman: VengeanceHiro Okamura, assists with the asteroid's destruction. Captain Atom is seemingly killed. Luthor is defeated and appears to die in the battle, although he is shown to survive. In the course of the fight, Luthor is irrevocably exposed to the world as Superman / Batman: Vengeance villain for the first time in Post- Crisis continuity. -

USING GRAPHIC NOVELS with CHILDREN and TEENS a Guide for Teachers and Librarians Using Graphic Novels with Children and Teens a Guide for Teachers and Librarians
USING GRAPHIC NOVELS WITH CHILDREN AND TEENS A Guide for Teachers and Librarians USING Graphic NOVELS with CHILDREN AND TEENS A Guide for Teachers and Librarians Graphic NOVELS ARE hot! No longer an underground movement appealing to a small following of enthusiasts, graphic novels have emerged as a growing segment of book publishing, and have become accepted by librarians and educators as mainstream literature for children and young adults literature that powerfully motivates kids to read. Are graphic novels for you? Should you be taking a more serious look at this format? How might graphic novels fit into your library collection, your curriculum, and your classroom? Want to know more? If so, this guide is for you. Art © 2010 Jeff Smith 2 What are graphic novels? In this context, the word “graphic” does not mean “adult” or “explicit.” Graphic novels are books written and illustrated in the style of a comic book. The term graphic novel was first popularized by Will Eisner to distinguish his book A Contract with God (1978) from collections of newspaper comic strips. He described graphic novels as consisting of “sequential art”—a series of illustrations which, when viewed in order, tell a story. Although today’s graphic novels are a recent phenomenon, this basic way of storytelling has been used in various forms for centuries—early cave drawings, hieroglyphics, and medieval tapestries like the famous Bayeux Tapestry can be thought of as stories told in pictures. The term graphic novel is now generally used to describe any book in a comic format that resembles a novel in length and narrative development. -
